The sound is not bad at all for this size of Boombox, and have all the convenience features, I love it.

I've read the past reviews, and took the risk purchasing through Deal of the Day. I will tell you I have people offering the full price if I would sell it to them. Needless to say, I've kept it and continue to enjoy this flashback boombox. Although not the quality of sound like the new generation of systems like Bose, Sony, and other brands of the like, the sound quality is pretty good. Obviously, the quality of digital music nowadays is a lot higher, so it is a step up from the analog music played through the original boomboxes. Overall quality is fairly good. The knobs are cheap plastic, and not the quality as found on the original boomboxes, but if you can look past it, you will enjoy. The only thing I would've appreciated would be having the VU meters rather than the light show, like the ones installed on the JVC and Panasonic boomboxes of yesteryear that I owned as a teenager. Overall, I am enjoying the boombox, and further enjoy the reaction people have when they hear it playing "old school" rock and R&B.

My brother is mentally disabled. His only true joy in life was hanging out with my mom and listening to music. Recently we loss our sister and mother. My brother looked at least 100 boom boxes and as they are playing out of style we could not find one he liked in person or on line. I have searched for 2 years. None had the sound quality he liked and he wanted one box that was one unit so he could carry on his walks. But we recently loss our mother and sister within 2 months of each other. The loss of our family has truly been heart breaking to our family but more so to my brother who lived with my mom. I made it my mission to find this boom box as it was very important to my mom that my brother have this as it helped relax him. So on Christmas Day when he opened his gift, he was the happiness he had been since we loss our sister and mother. Thank you Best Buy

This radio is similar to one I had 30 yrs ago. I still have that one but it doesnt work anymore. The new radio has may features I like including good sound, light show and it also is blue tooth.

Easy to use with bluetooth and great lights show to the music movement, great sound and no heavy to carry every where.

I looked for a long time for a nice boombox to use on the patio. I tried several of them and sent them back. Finally saw this at Best Buy and I absolutely love it. Being retired and outside a lot, I always take this with me. Cd's sound great and automatically pairs with my phone's Bluetooth instantly. Couldn't be happier!

Great fun boombox! Has recharable battery, cd ayer and bluetooth in. Easy to isr amd light weight. Sounds rich with focus on highs and medium freqencies. Love how long the battery lasts over 5 hoirs!

I had to search quite a few places but I found what I wanted at Best Buy. This CD player was exactly what I was looking for and more.The quality of this product is great , sounds spectacular and even a light show.I love it , Its also a flash back to when boom boxes were everywhere. Can not complain about this product, and grand children loves watching the lights move to the rhythm of the music.Thanks.

I was excited to get this product. I enjoyed playing CDs and using Bluetooth along with the radio. However, the plastic band displaying AM/FM radio stations warped, so the Dial Pointer only gets to a certain point and any radio stations beyond that point cannot be played. What's worse is that BEST BUY does NOT stand behind this product. Even though the owners manual says the product carries a 90-day warranty, which is short enough, BEST BUY will NOT allow returns on the product after 2 WEEKS. I contacted BEST BUY less than 1 month after my purchase and was told I could not return it. This was not an inexpensive product. BEST BUY needs to stand behind the products it sells!

The product works fine, good quality and sound. Have used it for six weeks without a problem. However, it was advertised online as having a cassette player but it has none. I knew about this before purchasing only because a Reviewer stated it. You should revise the Specs section of the ad.

This retro boom box sounds great, has a lot of features and the rechargeable battery is a definite plus! I mostly use it outdoors but serves me well inside too. An excellent made product that looks awesome! I bought it at bestbuy.com for half off too! Everyone that enjoys music should definite own one of these!

we wanted something retro that is really easy to use. and this is perfect for us.it has knobs and real antennae.it has great sound with separate bass and treble control.

love this boombox I can use it with batteries or just plug it in. I have really enjoyed this for parties and camping trips. Worth the money I paid for it.

So glad I purchased this boom box l! It's upgraded to include Bluetooth CD player, car and regular charger Aux —it has everything! Love love it!
