I bought this to go in my car as I traveled across country. Would not connect to my 2023 Ford Escape, so I connected it to a portable speaker. I worked great for 2 weeks. However, after that it won't stay "closed". It would suddenly show "OPEN" even when it wasn't. Solution was to strap it closed. However, this wasn't ideal as every CD change required unstrapping and restrapping. Also, if the BT button was accidently hit in the process, I had to reconnect it to my speaker. Otherwise it worked fine

The old-school-esque design is upheld by good working features, not at all unlike any portable CD player; it's also not quite as sensitive to shocks or jolts as some, so far as I know. One drawback is "fading in" on some selected tracks started or any continued after Pause; it's a little unnerving, but if I just listen to the previous track twice, it pretty much works out. Overall, it's well-made, and its design and brand name surprises you about what the former auto company Studebaker has come to represent in the latter age.

As a unit its fine, but it claims bluetooth, but it won't pair with a auto receiver only speakers. Works for audio-books but its not really Hi-Fi wen connected via FM transmitter, at least on 2025 KIA Niro. Writeup in Best Buy is misleading

Very disappointed. I bought this because it is supposed to be blue tooth capable to work with my hearing aids. I can’t get it to work at all. Something positive? It’s pretty.

My son is very happy to listen to all my old cds with his new cd player! Looks beautiful in the red color and was a perfect gift for the holidays. He says it works great.

complex interface non-intuitive. impossible to pair with blue tooth. otherwise a value for the $.

It didn't work. It stopped working every time we hit the smallest bump in the road when driving. It was returned to the store for credit.

This player is easy to use and works great in car, with earphones or speakers. Especially like anti-skip feature.

We bought it for our daughter. She loves it. After homework, she spends hours listening to the music she burns onto her own cs's.

It's cute and small but that's where the good stuff ends. It doesn't include a cord to plug into a separate speaker. Far worse, it skipped the beginnings and middle sections of songs on each of the cds I played. The gaps of silence were 5-10 seconds long. Had to be returned.
