Sticks really well to a windshield and seems to be secure. Doesn't seem to work with mounting to a dashboard. Would like to be able to mount to a dashboard. Since it only mounts well to a windshield the GoPro has to be mounted upside down or sideways which makes it a little inconvenient to manage controls, but the view screen will show right side up no matter how it's mounted. Until I found the GoPro Player on the GoPro website it was only playing upside down on Quicktime or VLC Media Player. With the GoPro Player it plays right side up no matter how the GoPro is mounted. With the ability to mount on a dashboard would make the mount much more usable.

Suctions works very well. Good for track use and taking corners

Still up on my windshield to this day! Also has lifetime warranty so eventually if it does get sun damaged or anything that affects the suction; I would just exchange it for a new one!

So I was originally going to buy a cheaper version of this to mount on the outside of my car but I told myself why go cheap and risk it. I spent the money on this suction cup and I am glad that I did. Construction is spot on and durable. Simply clean the area first and stick it down. Then pull the tab down to apply more suction. Mounts great on the inside and outside of my car. For my first test I mounted it on the outside of the car on my roof. There it got the full effect from the incoming wind. Took the car up to 130 and it still stayed put. I love this thing and I am glad that I made this purchase

This is my first time owning GoPro Hero, and I am using it to record my driving adventure on the inside of my windshield. The suction cup is amazing, because of how strong of a hold it has on the inside windshield. Pros: + Strong suction + simple design + easy to set up and take down + able to use on sunroof, side windows and windshield Cons: - no instructions to set up - not easy to assemble right oout the box (you have to play around with the parts to get the right angle) Overall: I recommend it for GoPro users who are thinking about using this to set up a GoPro in your car.

I set this up on my car for some recording while on highway. Keeps the camera very steady and hasn’t fell off. Which is great.

At first, I was thinking it too much before I ordered this suction cup holder for GoPro cameras Because I have done this before, with others but I will tell you this I was wrong definitely wrong with this suction cup holder from GoPro It worst every dime the i pay for I have tried my camera put it outside of my car on top of the roof and i drive away. I wanted it to see how good this product Was hydro around for around 30 minutes for my surprise My camera was still there when I stop my car and then I try it inside my car, the dashboard And it works perfectly. Every time the suction cup holder is strong I try to pull them off by hand and and see how easy was going to come off. won’t come off unless you unlock it so I will say this is a safe product to buy especially when you have a $500 GoPro on on top of the roof of your car so yeah, I definitely recommend this product to anybody to buy it from Best Buy

I bought my GoPro specifically to record my team's hockey games. Needed to find a way to set it up on the boards so that it could capture a nice wide angle of the ice. Soon as I saw the Suction Cup Mount I knew that was the one I'd need. It works flawlessly. I mount it on the outside of the boards, directly behind and above our goalie. Have used it about a dozen times now, and it has yet to slip off of the glass. People have been knocked in to boards it's attached to, and it hasn't budged.

I was super scared to use this for both my camera and cars sake but bucked up for some rollers and they turned out great. Washed the car beforehand and no scratches and the camera stayed put. Only wish is that they had additional attachments for this at different angles!

Best suction cup ever. I have changed the head to receive other devices such as phones and cameras. It works great and hold very well.

This suction cup is awesome. I attached my GoPro to it with it attached to my windshield of the motorcycle. Durable, and stays attached. In 6 months, it came loose once (constantly stays attached to the windshield). My only complaint is we need one angle attachment, to get the camera where I want it, but it works.

This suction cup mount is the best and most versatile mount for a go pro that I’ve ever used. I bought one a few years ago and loved it then, and just purchased a new one, and it’s as good as I remembered. It has very powerful suction when mounted properly, and mount on the clean surface of your car, outside, and will not fall off regardless of the speed.... and it’s sturdy and provides a stable platform for whatever you’re mounting. I highly recommend this unit.

This suction cup is rated up to 150mph. While I don't think I'll be hitting that speed anytime soon, it's nice to know that I'm covered when I bring my car to the track. The suction cup mount provides me with confidence knowing that my $400 GoPro camera is not going to fall off of my car. Highly recommended for any car enthusiast! Thought I'm sure this can also be used in other applications.

Bought this to mount my GoPro 4 in my care while driving. Other reviews swayed me to purchase the official GoPro mount and not a third party one due to the excellent quality. Those reviews were correct. The suction provided is very strong and the camera has no vibrations. Side note: You will want a skeleton housing to use with your gopro and this mount. The skeleton housing allows you to use your USB port to keep the camera powered or charging while mounted.

I use this while I'm riding motorcycle when I'm wanting to film the scenery as our gives a unobstructed view of any of the bike itself. The strong suction cup had never failed me and lives up to the GoPro name for being reliable mounts in extreme potential situations. Would definitely recommend this for anyone that is wanting a secure option where there really is nothing to secure the camera to by other means. Vibration is minimal.

I'll admit I was still skeptical even with the reviews I watched but I took my Jeep out on a trail and it stayed on even on the worse washboards I've ever gone on. I would still use a shoe string or something to teather it just in case but it works like a charm.

While I haven’t tried this suctioned to the hood of my car at 70mph I have at 50mph and had no issue. Well made and a Mount I would highly recommend
