It fastens securely and worked great. I also had it on my windshield while driving t Las Vegas while I was driving 70 mph. Works great. Trying to figure out all the parts to get the angle required takes some time to figure out

Good suction...if used on the right surface

My first two attempts using this accessory with my go pro camera were on a kayak and a standup paddle board with somewhat rigid/bumpy surfaces. After a few minutes of use the suction cup lost its grip. When I later tried it on a totally smooth surface I had no problems at all.
