I’m writing this review from the perspective of an older person, playing in the easiest level, in single user mode. With that in mind, THIS GAME SUCKS! First, you’re forced through a tutorial for 4 characters. While the controls are similar, play for each character is dramatically different. I chose to stick with a single character - the big shark. Next, the game is little more than battle after battle after battle. Characters (both good and bad) are constantly introduced. Then again, so are new moves. You wouldn’t want a person to have the time to actually learn how to play the game, right? So, what you end up with is a confusing mishmash of story, characters and moves. Basically, the type of approach that a low IQ game developer would try to use — unsuccessfully. Third, the skill system is moronic — really useless. So, if you want to play a fun game and enjoy the story — avoid Suicide Squad like the plague. I wish I had. What a waste of money.

Pre ordered this game 3 days before release to pick IN STORE (mind you) all to receive nothing about a delay UNTIL I reached out to them which took forever to speak to anyone and the one live person that I did get to speak to wasn’t even a person working at our local best buy, but somewhere else (corporate offices I’m guessing). Best buy has normally been great with anything I’ve ordered and on top of things, but not this time. Horrible and won’t be buying from them anymore.

Doesnt look like a 2024 game. Arkham knight looks like it would be the newer game by comparison. Not to mention the sweet baby inc crotch chop to the source material. Companys keep hiring based on the blue hair and pronouns and not talent. This what you get. And why gaming is in the state its in.

Great game, to bad i purchased it twice. Im going to return it because I don't need 2.
