I must admit tat I was surprised when I saw this movie. It is not that much about the well publicized plane crash, but the dispute that occurred afterward about how the pilot handled it. You will be surprised about how much debate there was over the pilot's decision making. Very interesting. The picture quality is also above average for a 4K release. Many are 1080 upscaled, but not this one. Th is a legit native 4K scan. I wish they all looked like this one. A definite add if you want the highest quality 4K releases.

I have always been a big fan of Tom Hanks, so one could justifiably argue that my views are biased. I was living in NY when the “Miracle on The Hudson” occurred. I was immediately enamored with the story and hoped there would be a movie about Chesley Sullenberger. They couldn’t have picked a better actor for the role. If you like the movies “Captain Phillips” and “Bridge of Spies”, you will definitely enjoy this movie.

This is a real native 4K master, not some 1080 upscale like most others. The picture is truly gorgeous. The movie is also suspenseful, even though you already know it has something to do with landing a plane in the Hudson River. It's more about how the captain had to defend himself in court from regulators who were questioning his judgment. Great direction from Client Eastwood.

I really enjoyed this movie. I have always been a Tom Hanks fan. I didn't even realize that Captain Sully was being criticized for landing the plane in the water. I have been trying to pick up as many 4K Ultra HD Blu-Rays as possible because the picture quality is awesome. Just wish that they have more titles. Love the Dolby Atmos....sounds fantastic on my high-end home theater system.

While a lot of the investigatory portion of the film was somewhat fictionalized, the technical portions of the movie including the flight, rescue and the technical aspects of the investigation were superb. Overall, the story telling was excellent with flashbacks mixed into the story that fully framed the story. The 4K presentation was terrific. Highly recommend this film.

Tom Hanks is fantastic as "SULLY." It makes it much easier to watch knowing the end result of everyone being safe. Sully is a true hero for what both the fantastic landing in the Hudson and getting all the folks off the plane. Also, a "hats off" to the fantastic flight attendants in doing what they were trained to do. A fantastic film!!!

If you like Tom Hanks, you'll enjoy this. If you're a pilot, or know one, you NEED to see this. As a professional pilot myself, I can say this film speaks to what we go through when dealing with the feds and public when events like this happen. If you want some insight into that, and some insight into what it takes to fly professionally, watch this movie.

Although this was not in stock, I was given a few options on how to get it. I took the option to drive immediately to another location and it was waiting at the Customer Service Counter when I arrived. The only complaint is that when they put it in my car all kinds of dirt and dust was left on my leather/suede seats and even a few scuffs.

Awesome movie and I can personally say being an airline pilot myself the film seemed very realistic to me. Had an opportunity to see the filming process at LaGuardia Airport as well with the whole film crew during my scheduled day of work at Terminal B at Concourse D (the scene at the mini mart at the airport.)

Sully is one of the best stories you will see in a long while. Behind the scenes, his own doubt about himself under duress is further compounded by the experts constant hounding of him during the crash investigation. In the end, Sully was a great, rewarding experience to witness on the movie screen. First rate story!!!

I really love this movie. I have watched it numerous times. It was interesting to learn what Captain Sully went through with the review board after the miracle landing when everyone was praising him as a hero. Looks great in 4k.

Sully saves the lives of everyone in his plane by landing on the Hudson river. He prevails over the bureaucrats who wanted to blame him for not landing back at the airport. I enjoyed the direction of Clint Eastwood on this. The frenetic style common today is replaced with longer shots and character development.

First off, i didnt get a chance to watch it at the theaters but after reading reviews of how good it is i decided to buy it in 4K UHD. Great choice i made. I was amazed how there was more to the story other than sully safely landing the plane. The storyline and acting are great and the graphics are amazing in 4K.

When I lived in NY I flew from LGA on a weekly basis. The thought of a water landing never crossed my mind. Hanks handles the cockpit scenes with the aplomb of a seasoned pilot but the true kudos go to the real crew. The flick is well done.You can feel the icy Hudson River water lapping at your toes.

What a stunning film! Both informing and entertaining, with some great behind the scenes and interviews with the real Sully. Eastwood did it again, in beautiful 4K and IMAX widescreen, bringing you right there onto the flight deck with Tom Hanks and a bird's eye view! Not to be missed!

What a film !. A thorough explanation into that heroic emergency landing in the Hudson river by a great pilot. Wow, I never the whole story that took place at the time. This is a in depth look into the ordeal. As usual, this is Clint Eastwood at his best.

MOVIES THAT ARE MADE ABOUT REAL EVENTS THAT HAPPENED ARE THE BEST TO WATCH I THINK. SURE, HOLLYWOOD MAY STRETCH IT HERE OR LEAVE SOMETHING OUT THERE. BUT ITS STILL ENTERTAINMENT THAT REALLY MAKES YOU THINK, WHOA THIS WAS REAL SITUATION FOR A PLANE FULL OF PEOPLE.

Great movie. Enjoyed the true story recreation of a miracle event and the stress a hero went thru. Somewhat sad that sometimes industries look for blame rather than celebrating life

ANOTHER GREAT ACTING PERFORMANCE BY TOM HANKS. THE FILM PULLS YOU INTO THE ACTION WHICH IS HAPPENING ALL AROUND YOU. WITH THE FILM BASED ON A MAJOR TRUE EVENT YOU ARE STILL WONDERING WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT. THIS IS FILM MAKING AT IT BEST.

Even though we all know the outcome of the flight, this film kept the suspense up with respect to NTSB/FAA reviews of the flight and replays of the action regarding those issues. Very entertaining and informative. 4K resolution showed very well.
