    Bought this extremely heavy duty tv mount for our outdoor tv. Very sturdy, swivels for great viewing, well made. Highly recommend - easy to mount!

    The mount looks great but the weather guard black coating was chipped in at least 15 places. This may have happened in shipping but part of the additional cost of this unit is it's 'outdoor' rating so any exposed metal would most likely rust more quickly. Best buy stood behind the purchase and is swapping out the unit with no issues.

      Hi there. Apologies for the experience you had here. This is certainly not common, or the experience we want for our customers. I'll pass this info along to our product team for review. SunBrite mounts have a lifetime warranty, and we stand behind our products. Also, this mount is chemically-dipped to resist rust inside and out, so even if the mount sustains a chip, it still has rust protection. The mount should certainly not be chipped out of the box though.
