Great for low light / night photography. Has a bright flash, and easy to mount onto photography camera. It is a bit large, but that’s what you need for a big flash photo.

The Sunpak DF4000U External Flash has been a valuable addition to my photography gear. Its automatic zoom head adjusts from 28mm to 180mm, accommodating various shooting scenarios. The built-in bounce card and swivel head, which rotates 180° to the left, offer flexibility in directing light for optimal subject illumination. The illuminated LCD display simplifies customization of settings, and the hot shoe attachment ensures easy installation and removal. Powered by four AA batteries, it's convenient for on-the-go shooting. Overall, this flash provides excellent value for its price, enhancing the quality of my photos across different environments.

Flash works good. The backlit screen is very easy to see and read. I am giving 4 stars, i mistakenly bought it for the wrong camera system. But suprisingly, it still fires on camera. I did have an incident where i was shooting for a wedding and the flash did not go off,, even after turning off the flash and camera a couple times. Even though it worked the day before the event, as well as the day after.

I'm new at all this but loved this product! It was a great price, and was comparable to the name brands. I've also had others that have the name brands, and said it was comparable.

This flash adds more of a realistic tone to my photos and it is super bright. The only down side is that it is a little on the heavy side.

This external flash gives that extra boost you sometimes need above the built-in flash unit or the small one that often comes with the purchase of a camera kit.

Compatible with my Nikon P950 and any other camera I decide to get in the future. I like the remote flash feature so that I don' t have to connect it directly to the camera. Offers very good flash lighting and comes with a travel case and starter batteries.
