Depending on how heavy your device determines the effectiveness of the rotating ball. I tried using my Sony A6400 and it would tilt the whole tripod. I also tried using this tripod with my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with it and the rotating ball would slowly tilt. The friction lock for that ball is not as strong.

Perfect For Handheld Gimbal
