Not the best for a heavy SLR

Well this would be great if I had a compact camera. Also, really cool that it goes from tabletop size to full tripod. However, I have a heavy slr canon, and it seems pretty flimsy to use for that. It's sort of difficult to pack it up once it's fully extended. Lots of little nooks and buttons to get past with each extension of the legs. I think the best part of this tripod is it's so compact for travelling. But if your going to use it daily or for professional use, make sure you buy a heavier duty one.

It weighs very little, and works great. Use it for cameras and projectors. Not sure how durable it is yet, but seems fine for now.

This tripod is definitely meant for travel as it's lightweight and folds up to be very compact. Took it hiking and the weight wasn't an issue at all. Only problem is the leg construction is very flimsy. Within a day's use, I was able to pull one of the legs off when i was trying to extend it. When fully extended, it doesn't feel very stable too. One strong wind would knock my camera over...a big no no. Overall, in a pinch it works OK but I'd get something a little better.

I purchased for a vacation trip lately so I could put it on my carry on bag. It served its purpose and held my Sony a6000 alright for a few storm and sunset photos. Quality isn’t great and when you extend all of the legs the balance isn’t that sturdy. Closing the legs back up also takes some work because each as a tiny button to press and it can be a pain sometimes to press.

The tripod looked perfect for travel, compact and light weight. The sales girl happily removed the packaging for me to inspect it. Looked good! I noticed she was struggling to collapse it but was in a hurry so I took another and eagerly headed home to give it a go. Went up easily enough and supported the camera reasonably well. Attempting to put it away was a struggle. You are required to depress 2 little spikes that pop through holes on each section. You have to exert a lot of force to get them to retract and it's not easy. While I was doing this one leg fell off the tripod. Upon closer inspection I discovered the threads were stripped. The metal was very cheap/thin and wouldn't support the threads . I returned it and explained the problem to customer service rep. He set it up and found the same difficulties I had. He happily refunded my purchase .

When in its storage state, it's pretty compact and not heavy to carry around. It's great if you need a tripod fast. It's easy to use and glides easy for maneuvering the camera.

Very compact for traveling, but pictures often turned out crooked because it is so light and flimsy if the camera is heavy it will lean.

This is an excellent tripod for pro's or beginners. It only has 42 inches of height, but that does not take away from it sturdiness or ease of use. I have used it with my all of my camera's, video and digital and 35mm. It is compact, and almost fits into my camera bag. It is light weight, and can be put into action in no time at all. A simple twist of the knobs, and it can easily be used as a bipod as well. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a light weight tripod for on the go photo's and very ease of use.

I was looking for a low cost, small to medium tripod for a webcam. It the feet can be finicky at times to get it level, but it can be done. Does the job well enough.

This tripod collapses to a very small size that easily fits in our sling camera bag. Camera easily attaches as well. Being a true tripod you can extend the different legs to different sizes nearly any unique terrain. As noted above, the twisting action to actually lock or unlock the legs seems like it could eventually wear down the leg but time will tell with that. As far as strength it holds our Canon T3i with the standard lens just fine and also the 300mm telephoto lens as well.

I love how small and light this is. Only problem is that my Nikon 3200 is a little heavy for it and causes it to tip. I use a book under one leg and that helps

This tripod folds up small enough that it's easy to take with you anywhere. When fully extended it is a little wobbly but not enough that it affects picture quality.
