3 Legged beast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oh boy, let me tell you about this Sunpak PlatinumPlus 5858D 58" Tripod - it's a real game-changer! I mean, who needs to lift weights when you can lug this thing around all day? It's like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of tripods - strong, sturdy, and built like a tank. And let's talk about the color - black. It's like the tripod is saying, "I'm not here to mess around, I'm here to get the job done." I swear, just looking at it makes me feel more professional already. But the real magic happens when you start using it. With its adjustable legs and 3-way pan head, it's like the tripod has its own personal yoga instructor. It can contort itself into any position you need, whether you're shooting a portrait or a landscape. And don't even get me started on the quick-release plate - it's like a magic trick, except instead of pulling a rabbit out of a hat, you're attaching your camera to the tripod in seconds flat. Overall, I'd say the Sunpak PlatinumPlus 5858D 58" Tripod is the best thing to happen to tripods since sliced bread. If you're in the market for a tripod that's both reliable and a real workout, look no further.

good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i needed a tripod to take pictures for a event, and i picked this one up because it met the height i needed it for. As a bonus it wasn't very expensive. After using it for a bit, took some pics of the family, i was satisfied enough with it. All in all its a good product its not heavy, has enough adjustment points to do whats needed, and it wasn't very expensive at my local Best Buy store. So yeah, small wins. bd

Black Friday Deal Tri-pod
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a cheap, light-weight tripod for when I just need to pop my H4N on a stand to monitor sound or put up my light ring. It works for both really well and came with a cell phone mount, which is cool. I've always likes Sunpak for their price and they don't totally fall apart immediately like many other cheaper tri-pods. My previous one I used to shoot short films for around 9 years before I lost it. Happy I nabbed this one on Black Friday!

Sunpak tripod
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a couple of these because they were on sale for 50% off for $14.99 each, thinking they were disposable quality. After using them for about 2 months, they are quite nice! I was surprised how stable it was. They are cheap! Plastic parts with aluminum legs keep everything lightweight. But overall they work just fine. And at that price point you can travel with these and leave them with a aspiring new photographer when you are finished.

Great Tripod for an inexpensive price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tripod seems to be a good deal for the price. I caught it on sale. I have tested it to see if it is durable. It seems to be made of quality materials and seems more sturdy than a tripod that I had to return to another store with a defect. It has several adjustable heights and holds the camera in place pretty firm. I will have the opportunity to really put this tripod to test when I use it extensively for my dissertation. So far, so good!

Decent, good quantity tripod for lighter cameras
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod is decent. Works ok for the Canon digital camera I bought. Light and eat to carry and fairly sturdy. Tripod head moves smoothly and locks down easily and tightly to keep the camera from moving. I found it isn't good for long exposure shots as it vibrates just enough the outfits cooler it blurry, but for standard stills it works good

Good budget tripod
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light, cheap (in price), easy to use. Perfect for smaller projects and stills. Be aware that this is not made for heavier cameras or objects. I use it mainly for a laser leveler and it works fine.

Worth checking it out
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic tripod with height adjustment features. It has built in leveling bubble as well. It is light weight and the overall quality is good. Wish the phone holder was designed differently, iphone 8 tends to slip out as the sides are curved however the holder has a good grip on iphone12 since the sides are flat.

Great to assist in taking professional looking pic
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tripod is a must have when you don't have steady hands. Bought as a gift for our daughter taking photography classes. Starting out as a beginner in photography, this a great value. Taking pictures around town & you want to be able to focus without blurring pictures this was so helpful. Also was able to use for quick steady photos of my nephews & nieces, helped in making photos look very professional.

This is a very good, easy to set up and use light.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup and use. I would NOT recommend this for a SLR-type camera, as it is designed for lighter, point-and-shoot cameras. It is light weight, but stable enough for lighter cameras. The quick-detach camera mount makes it relatively easy to remove the camera from the tripod to take some quick, hand-held shots. The built-in level is also useful in assuring that your shots will not appear askew.

surprisingly sturdy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they feel super flimsy because they are aluminum, but they turn out to be pretty sturdy while still light weight. i love the option to remove the entire attachment clip. that really makes it easier when switching around equipment often. also, this thing has a loosener and tightener for every function, double check the design and make sure everything is nice and tight so you don't get any surprises during shooting.

Straightforward tripod for everyday use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gets the job done and pretty steady for self tapes. I do wish the part to hold the camera was easier to open and close but for the price not much complaints.
