We appreciate how Lucas at the Everett, MA Best Buy stored accompanied us with questions about store products & our store purchases from the start to finish. He encouraged the Best Buy membership to both my partner and I explaining the benefits and the difference between having it/not having it. Thank you for allowing him to help us with these important and tedious tasks, please give him a raise or a gift of appreciation. We’d appreciate that a lot!

This tripod is lightweight, easy to set up, and holds my camera steady with no issues. The height adjustments are smooth, and it feels sturdy even when fully extended. Perfect for photography or video on a budget without sacrificing quality.

Needed a cheap and somewhat sturdy tripod that didn't break the bank. It's not a manfrotto tripod, but it doesn't cost nearly $100 nor as heavy as a manfrotto tripod. I'm going away for a roadtrip to the mountains and needed something light and sturdy. This tripod fulled both requirements, plus it's not too expensive (so if it broke, no worries). Great tripod for travel or just beginning to learn photography.

Very sturdy and has been great tripod for indoor or outdoor. Easy to use and lightweight, just pack up and you are ready to go and shoot.
For this price it is a steal. It can take a decent weight of your camera and lens. This is certainly not a beginners tripod but would say a mid level. Look and feel is good and it does justice to the price.

This was the cheapest full size tripod at my Best Buy store. I have a Joby tripod that is super portable, but won’t work for all jobs. I recently got Neutral Density filters, and this tripod works great. Smooth and durable and lightweight, for my uses. More expensive ones might be smoother or lighter or stronger, but for now, this fits my Nikon D3400 just fine. Detachable quick mount, level bubble, etc. had more expensive, name brand in my youth, but this tripod works just fine, although not sure of long term usage.

It serves its purpose for a tripod that was $19.99. It’s light weight but sturdy enough to hold most cameras needed for shooting material in a stationary position.

Definitely feels cheap mechanism wise, but still holds a camera well and is very lightweight. Very good for the price

Considering the low price the tripod is great. I have a Canon R6 mark ii with a 1.2 50mm, it’s a decently
heavy setup. This tripod has only ever slipped a little
but considering the weight and it’s only when oriented to portrait style. In Landscape this works perfect.

Best Buy Blew Christmas For Me

My wife bought me two of these tripods for Christmas. It would have been a nice surprise except that days before Christmas I received an email from Best Buy asking me to review this tripod. I thought "what the heck" for a second and then realized in their overzealous attempt for reviews, Best Buy had ruined Christmas. I tried to pretend like I was suprised, but my wife knew I knew and when I told her the story she was ticked off at Best Buy. It really is a poor business practice. I mean she bought it a week before Christmas and on Dec 22 you are asking me for a review?
I won't fault the product for Best Buy's mistake. I gave it a fair 4 stars because it fills the role I wanted. A cheap tripod I can take with me to Italy and be light enough to bring with me into Tuscan hill towns at night...while being cheap enough that I can leave it behind if I want more room in my luggage to bring home some nice Italian Red Wines. I once brought a $1000 tripod and head to Europe and it stayed in the trunk most of the time since it was too much to lug around. This will be perfect.

I wanted a durable but inexpensive tripod. WOW this really surpassed my expectations. I was expecting since this was on the lower end of cost for the selection of tripods available in-store I was getting something that would last a year or so. It is very lightweight. The adjustment knobs and clips hold very tight without slipping. I am very happy with this purchase and I am sure that this will stand up to many years of use.

For the price this tripod is pretty decent. It's sturdy enough for use with a Sony A6000 as long as you aren't using it in super windy conditions. The legs lock down nicely with no movement. My only issue, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, is the top is hard to get locked down using the extended handle (I'm sure there is a name but I don't know it). I'll have the camera positioned just right then turn that handle to lock and there will be some movement. As long as you expect it, you can account for it so not a deal breaker. Again, given the price point, this thing works great. If I wanted something higher end, I would have went with a more pricey option but I wanted cheap and quick and this fit the bill.

Just like the title says, this tripod packs a big punch for the bargain price of $29.99. It has all the features of more expensive tripods & is also very light, yet extremely durable. I use this for surf photography & video, as well as making YouTube videos of 1/4 & 1/2 mile car racing events, and it works perfect. Don't see why you need to spend $75+ for a pod when this does the exact same thing.

easy to use and install. Lightweight and rotates 360. You can use it with a camera or phone. Adjustable heigh is super easy to achieve with simple clicks or turns. Stable and I like the levels that help you adjust the camera or phone for stability. Portable and you can store it away with no problems as it folds very well.

I honestly can't comment much about the use of this with a camera. I bought it for use with an LED light, because it was on sale for $15. I was able to unscrew the top portion and strip it down to the stem/rod that goes up and down with the handle. I then managed to connect my light to the top. Great cheap option. Stable and light.

Decent For The Price

I got this on sale, and felt it was a good price for what it is. I just wanted something inexpensive and light, and this fit the bill. You can tell it's a low cost tripod; it's not very strong and parts aren't as smooth and tight as a higher priced tripod, but it definitely works. I wouldn't use it for action shots, as the rotating and angle changes aren't as smooth as I'd like for fast paced panning, but if you're just wanting to take landscape photos, it will work fine. I found I needed to use the timer on the camera most of the time because just pressing the button on the camera would cause it move a little bit and the pictures weren't clear. If I had the option, I would rate it 3.5 stars, but I rounded up instead of down because of the decent price.

I have a logitech cam which I use for streaming in twitch. Last one I had which was mounted to my desk was starting to wear and tear but it was time to upgrade to a tripod stand. At first I was skeptical with this product when I saw it in sale for 16.99$
So decided to get and just return it if it didn't meet my standards. I did question the cut price from it's original price 29.99$. Maybe a clearance, I don't know. Though even better since I buy frequently from best buy, had a 5$ certificate and went and got it. So far it is a great product, sturdy, it actually is 3 ft. Higher than me, the webcam fit perfectly and it is good to keep. Pretty happy with my purchase full price or on sale.
Also comes with a mount clip for your smartphone and another type of mount piece, so about 3 type of mounting parts. I love the ground balancer it has even though I dont need it but who knows.

Great for the price! Plastic can seem somewhat flimsy but overall a great alternative to an expensive tripod! Very light, great for travel... but not heavy overall.

Can't beat it for the price! I have been a sunpak tripod user for at least ten years and, I gotta tell ya, Don't let the light weight of this tripod fool you. If you take descent care of it. It won't break. The plastic they use is very durable, light and and somewhat attractive. The only concern I have about this tripod is the quick release plate. While it offers tons of convenience I am afraid of losing it.

Good for light cameras, can't carry with equipment attached, can't use large lenses without extra support.
