It locked in place and was super easy to transport! The ability to remove the cameras via quick snap was great but what I found even more useful was taking the whole pistol grip off cameras and all to catch every possible angle aircraft came streaking across the field! Works perfectly!

Functions well but flimsy

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You will be hard-pressed to find a better ballhead trigger grip for this price. It is especially good for panoramic photography because the handle doesn't stick out into the frame. But it is indeed very poor quality and flimsy. So just don't expect it to last long for everyday use.
