Decided to take this stand on a road trip from California to Florida and let me say, terrain does not matter. It will stand in the dirt, rocky terrain, sand, grass, almost about anything! It raises to a fair height. Super durable. And very nice design. You get your momeys worth!

All of the other stands are too short. This one gives great flexibility while securing the camera.

I bought a new camera and I needed a tripod. I needed one that could face in all directions with a lot of variation in height. I needed it to be very sturdy and able to hold the camera even when it was facing completely upwards or downwards. Being able to face downwards was also a big thing for me. I'm so happy with this one. I also bought it on sale, but even if it wasn't on sale the price is very affordable. Over all I'm glad I went with this one instead of the cheaper option. I also like the locking mechanism on the grip which prevents the camera from tilting downwards when it's at strange angles so you can make sure you'll keep the same frame/shot.

I finally found a sturdy and lightweight tripod that does not cost an arm and a leg, and naming rights to my first born child. the locks are strong without being too difficult to open and close

Didn’t expect too much from this inexpensive tripod. And I have to say that I am surprised how sturdy this is. Materials are of quality and well designed. I use this for my canon R10 and it’s a little pricey but I don’t feel as if this tripod will fall over or break. You can easily break down to store under the bed or put inside a closet. For the price it was a great value 100%.

This is a great beginner tripod! I used it for a photoshoot for a school project and it was so easy to use right out of the box. I do wish the legs were a little bit sturdier but for a starter tripod it’s great to help you get the shot you need, as long as the camera isn’t too heavy and it’s not too windy outside!

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas- she is a professional photographer. It works great- one handed adjustments and rubber grips on the bottom so it won't scratch floors

This tripod is nice for the money and works well to hold my Canon 80D with a Speedlight flash for portrait photography. The above setup is about the max of what this can safely hold weight-wise.
With a long, heavy lens on the camera, the tripod doesn’t feel as stable as I’d like, so pros that shoot long lenses will want to upgrade. To be fair, pros probably aren’t shopping this model to begin with.
For the money, I’d buy it again. It has served me well.
