Travel tripod

This is a nice lightweight travel tripod with a ball head. It is not that fast to set up because of the numerous extensions and it's not great if there is much wind, but all-in-all, it's reasonably easy to use. It folds up into a small enough package that it fits easily into carry on luggage.
I wouldn't recommend it for regular use as it's so light and isn't made for the heavier professional DSLR cameras, but it will work for them on a vacation trip for those early evening low light situations.

Love the 2 levels & ball & socket legs for uneven ground. I also love the hand grip for ease of leveling.

I looked at a lot of tripods before purchasing this one. It has a lot of features that more expensive ones have and I honestly am not sure what else I could need. It's pretty lightweight, has lots of features (quick release, pistol grip ball head with auto trigger, self leveling feet, ect) but easy to set up and take down. The quality for the price really sold me on this tripod and I have no regrets.

There are more expensive/better tripods out there but for what this one cost, it will work well for what I am going to use it for. I'm putting my spotting scope on it to use at the range and not a camera. The only complaint I have about it is the mount that attaches to the camera/scope is a little wobbly when it is on the tripod. I've tried to tighten it up but there is no way. Regardless, it works for what I need. It might work better with a camera instead of the spotting scope.

Good camera stand

I needed a solid but not too heavy duty camera stand to film my kids' recital and I compared a few different ones. This unit is priced reasonably and has a very solid stand that could hold a variety of cameras including a smartphone (with an adapter). The panning grip has a lock which you squeeze to unlock while panning, which in my opinion is a nice design over the other units that use a lever. I'd buy this unit again for a second camera.

This tripod is sturdy, light, and easy to use. The pistol grip makes lining up the shot simple and fast. While the tripod is great for lighter cameras, and yes, the stand can hold 11 lbs, but the head cannot. The head is not suited for heavier lenses. I tried to use my super-telephoto lens and the head is not sturdy enough, nor is it capable of the fine tuning necessary for long distance photography. As long as you aren't putting much weight on it, this is still a great product.

Sunpak - PlatinumPlus Ultra 6000PG 61 Tripod is easy to use when on the move. It is also very light and not cumbersome when moving to multiple locations in a hurry.. I like the leg bars to keep the tripod steady compared to those tripods with no support to keep the legs from spreading out too far. I would buy another one if i needed one. My girlfriend bought one though!

I was looking for a good light weight tripod for my point and shoot camera with a long zoom, as well as my video camera. The Sunpak - PlatinumPlus Ultra 6000PG 61" Tripod wasn't the lightest, but it was light enough. Also, the pistol grip is awesome.
I would recomend this to any other hobbist like myself that just want to have fun with their point and shoot camera, with extended zoom.

Very content with this tripod; sturdy and light enough for hiking by with and holds my cameras and iPad with no issues. One minor fault was that it did not come with a hook for the bottom (it is however threaded should you choose to use it with your camera for macro work) to use a weight in winds, but $2.00 at Ace hardware solved the problem. I would absolutely buy another if they were to go back on sale (wink wink).

Great Tripod for the price. My main concern was buying a tripod for my camera that was light enough to cart around but also sturdy enough to be secure during setup. I have looked at several and the Ultra 6000PG was the right choice. It has a great pistol grip for fast movement. Always go with the flip lever locks for securing the legs on expansion, the threaded locks do not hold up. Great purchase!

I take pictures in a home studio for an online business and having clear photos is imperative. I wanted a tripod that had the hand crank to move the height up and down precisely and with ease. I also needed an easier way to adjust the camera to a precise point and the trigger handle is great for that! My only 2 complaints are that the trigger handle can be a little persnickety at times and the tripod could be taller. Otherwise, it's all good!

I purchased this tripod for my home business, so I use it inside and outside of the house. It is sturdy and is easy to setup up and take down. It has a tilt on it that makes it easy to adjust the camera to point in a particular direction (to tilt forward, back or sideways). The only thing I feel would be nice to have with this tripod is some kind of carrying case or bag, but for the money, it was still worth it (I just use a bag that I already had when I want to transport it).

This a a great Tripod. Being that I am 6’2” and the tripod extends up to 61”in height it is perfect. The tripod is very stable. I use it with my Sony Alpha 6100 Mirrorless Camera. The tripod is also very easy to setup, fairly light to carry when you are out taking photo’s, and the quality is pretty good for a $51.00 tripod.

I bought this outside of Denver as my wife and I were heading to the Rocky Mountain National Park. I realized that I had left my tripod at home by mistake. This purchase actually turned out well and I prefer it over my original. It's not fancy but my camera is a small mirrorless so it doesn't need to be bulky. I'm not a professional so this little unit works just fine for my static shots.

I'm now a big fan of the pistol grip - I recently shot a music video for some friends and this tripod really made a big difference. It's not super tall, but it did the trick. Well made, sturdy, and the pistol grip doth rule.

I spent a long time looking for a solid starting tripod for my DSLR. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T2i and I like taking it everywhere I go. This Tripod is light weight, easy to set up with a smooth functioning head for panning or tilting. I really like the pistol grip. It saves time when putting it away giving you one less nob to worry about when you are on the go. Although I will say that for the price, I expected some sort of bag but it doesn't come with one.
