Customers are saying

Customers praise the PlatinumPlus Ultra 6000PG 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, light weight, and reasonable price. Users appreciate its grip and compatibility with cameras like the Nikon 7100. Some customers mention the tripod's size when collapsed could be smaller, and a few find it unsuitable for panning with the trigger handle. There were also a few comments on the legs.

It's a light weight tripod, but the trigger release on the head makes it fast and easy to aim.

It’s an okay starter tripod, but if you want something a little sturdier (especially when it comes to the upper pieces that interact directly with the camera), you may want to throw down a little bit extra so you’re not wasting time adjusting for a wobbly release plate. Still gets the job done though!

This is a great tripod for studio or outdoor use. The only thing I would add is a way to attach a counter weight for using larger lenses.

The only "negative" thing I can say about this tripod is that the trigger handle isn't as smooth as I'd like it, but it's not a deal-breaker.
