Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price of the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 tripod and monopod as significant advantages. The included monopod is also a popular feature. However, some users have noted that the panning mechanism could be smoother and that the construction feels somewhat less robust than expected. A few customers also found the tripod's size to be a drawback for portability.

I love this tripod. It is very sturdy to hold my canon 80d with 75-300mm lens. It is heavy though. I like the monopod too. You can also change the head to a ball and socket head.

I really like the ease of using this tripod. This tripod has great height when fully extended. The multi-purpose of being able to use it as a mono stick is a plus. The only piece that I struggle with is the locking of camera when using tripod to pan left to right.

For what was available at the time, this was a great buy! my wife is a photographer and she loves it as well. Some of the components feel cheap and "plasticy" but other than that, it is a sturdy tripod that works very, very well.

1st unit I purchased appeared that someone my have returned it because one of the clips that holds the legs to the center was broken. Best Buy allowed me to return for another, and the 2nd one is in great condition and works very well for my application. Excellent features for the money.

We have not used it yet, but did check it out completely before purchasing. Can't wait to use it in the field. Much better quality than the one we had. Light, but very sturdy.

Extremely sturdy I switch back and forth from my Sony video camera and my Pentax DSL Camera with a zoom lens. The tripod can handle either one with no issues.

Great choice for all around photography. Tripod is very stable and adjusts to normal and high shooting heights. The single pole is great for small spaces and telephoto shots. Light and easy to carry.

I've used this tripod a few times and am pleased so far. It is easy to adjust and steady with my Nikon D3500. My one complaint is that I have no way to attach a second camera without changing out the quick disconnect attachment from my primary camera.

Easy to use, confortable, light weight and more. This is a very good tripod, excellent for video too, so if you find it in store buy it specially if you got this at $50 or less, so if you know someone who like to photos with other than a smartphone recommend to it.

I would've given 5 stars but had some trouble with the mount part staying steady. There are a couple a screws to tighten and they're oddly placed with small pieces which I fear losing. Once that was tightened and ready to go, it's been a solid accessory to my photography gear.
