Customers are saying

Customers commend the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 2-in-1 70" Tripod and Monopod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price. Many users also appreciate the convenience of the included monopod. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the product's construction and the smoothness of its panning motion, while others noted its size may be difficult to transport.

Love my new tripod my family bought me as a Christmas gift! It's easy, durable and light to carry around. This is my second tripod and this one is my favorite this far.

The moment you unbox this tripod you can feel the quality in comparison to the $15 ones and used ones you get on offer up or wherever. Super portable. Super simple to use (even my 6 year old can use it) and the mono pod is super handy believe it or not.

I got this tripod on sale, so the price was good. It is lightweight and easy to open and close. The leg adjustment levers are large and not difficult for arthritic hands to operate. The handle isn't placed properly for good balance, but since the tripod is fairly large I don't plan to carry it long distances.

The tripod and monopod are pretty easy to use. It comes with a built in carry handle on the tripod for carrying, but I did wish it came with a bag. It is a bit on the heavy side, but that is to be expected at this price point. The great thing about it is that it is a pretty stable platform for my DSLR.

Received tripod as a gift. Finally have a tripod for my camera - nice. Excellent to use when group photos needed & don't have another person handy to take the photos. I would recommend this tripod for camera users. The tripod makes it so much easier for those group photos & for steady photos too.

I bought this looking for a tripod that was light and easy to set up when I'm trying to do something rather quickly. It's not the sturdiest and feels like it probably won't last terribly long, but it serves its purpose.

Easy to use, confortable, light weight and more. This is a very good tripod, excellent for video too, so if you find it in store buy it specially if you got this at $50 or less, so if you know someone who like to photos with other than a smartphone recommend to it.

Has some quirks with the extendable, free standing pole use that makes using it as a tripod a little wiggly but overall a strong and durable accessory

For the price this is a nice tripod. I'm tall so I appreciate the height of this tripod. It's not heavy and has a built in handle which is nice. For a beginner to intermediate this is a good tripod, especially considering the cost of the more expensive brands.

I am not kidding when I say I stood in the store and took every tripod out of the box and messed with it! This one took leaps and bounds over the other ones under $100. My only complaint is that it would allow you to move the legs to set it completely on the ground.

Great tripod. Versatile in height and angles. The only downside is the bracket for a cellphone, it’s flimsy but workable. Besides the cellphone bracket, it’s a solid tripod.

I really liked this tripod for photos to support my wife’s blog and videotaping my son’s events with a Canon Rebel T6. However, on a very cold day, one of the legs snapped off at the top pivot point while setting it up. While Best Buy required me to use the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty, Sunpack charged me nothing to replace it. I did have to pay for shipping to them and fortunately had all required documentation. They quickly gave me a new more robust version than the original at no charge. The failure cause was listed as as older design by manufacturer so it seems mine was simply older stock. The new one has done everything that we need with any other problems.

I bought the tripod for a beginners film class. The stand itself is sturdy, but I didn’t care for how the camera mounted on the tripod. The camera itself was not sturdy on the tripod. Not quite sure if I’m just a novice or if it’s the stand.
