Customers are saying
Customers frequently mention the sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price of the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 tripod and monopod as significant advantages. The included monopod is also a popular feature. However, some users have noted that the panning mechanism could be smoother and that the construction feels somewhat less robust than expected. A few customers also found the tripod's size to be a drawback for portability.

Great while at neutral level.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works to a point, but: 1. The head isn't stable enough for the shots I tried to get last night aimed up to the sky. If it's level, it's fine, but change the angle and it's all over the place and you have to put in so much extra work to try to stabilize with both hands. On the bright side, I learned how to make light streaks. 2. The part to screw into the bottom of the camera or lens is so difficult to fasten and take off. Going to return and hopefully can get something better.

Acceptable, but questionable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Of the upper bolts that hold the tripod legs to the monopod section ended up snapping out completely. Luckily the overall shape of upper section still fits snuggly in the original socket, but definitely not an ideal construction. As I only used it for about a month when it was brand new.

Okay Tripod
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the tripod for a beginners film class. The stand itself is sturdy, but I didn’t care for how the camera mounted on the tripod. The camera itself was not sturdy on the tripod. Not quite sure if I’m just a novice or if it’s the stand.

Nice sturdy tripod
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tripod if you drive to your photograph session, however if you like to hike or walk anywhere with your tripod I would probably go with something lighter and easier to carry. This tripod is built to last.

very good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works great. Easy to set up and adjust. The bubble works well for leveling. Quick release. I used this for my video camera to video volleyball games. Pretty sturdy construction. As good as some of the more expensive tripods I looked at.

Nice tripod for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this tripod for the durability of it. The levels are nice and easy grips on all sides. The things I didn't like is having to adjust the height only with the legs and the monopod is not very stable. Otherwise a durable tripod for beginners.

Good buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good buy. Wanted a tripod/monopod. This fits the expectation with durability. The mobile holder that comes with it as an attachment can be more durable, not a big deal though.

Stable product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a stable stand that can also work as a monopod. It easily accomodates my dslr and improves shoot quality. The foaming makes the product easier to grip especially in hot and sweaty out door shoots. Really is 58" but thats not a deal breaker.

Been loving this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So sturdy and nice. The only problem (it may just be mine) Is where the camera sits it is wobbly. I don't know if it needs to be tightened or what but as the camera may wobble a bit it has never fallen off. Great stand all in all!
