Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price of the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 tripod and monopod as significant advantages. The included monopod is also a popular feature. However, some users have noted that the panning mechanism could be smoother and that the construction feels somewhat less robust than expected. A few customers also found the tripod's size to be a drawback for portability.

This Tripod holds pretty much good amount of weight. I have got Nikon D780 with Tamron 70-200mm lens, this holds pretty good. But the issue is with the fitting screws, I had to replace the Tripod within 25 days of not much usage. Screw that is used for removing the MonoPod wasn’t working properly. It was not tightening up because of which camera was not sitting idle at one position, it was moving because of this Screw.

Versatile and works well in a variety of settings, though it is not top of the line. Great product at its price point.

I chose this Tripod after looking at all the different options in-store. I liked that the legs were thick made of durable material and were not flimsy. Especially the extension tabs, meaning I didn't have to worry about one of the legs extending or retracting while I had a device on the mount. I purchased this for a Vision Screener device and the built in level on the tripod mount really made it easy to calibrate our device.

Definitely a step up from the $20 tripod I bought previously...only complaint I have is you have to buy your own carry case for it which I did...but heavier..more stable...altogether much better!

Good quality tripod. Pretty sturdy for our Canon camera. It’s also compact , it fits in a carry on luggage which is great for traveling.

Haven't used this much yet but it has a very nice weight to it. light enough to haul around but has enough weight that it doesn't fall over because it is top heavy w/ camera when a little puff of wind comes along.

I bought this tripod to use for my sony handheld video camera and I am very pleased. The tripod is sturdy and works well. The only knock I have is that it did not come with a carrying case. Other than that I am pleased.

Needed a new tripod for shooting video during volleyball tournaments. This one is more sturdy than ones I have used in the past. I like that I can choose how high or low it goes with the adjustments in the legs but the part I like the best is that if I need it a few inches higher I can adjust the base and I don't need to use a crank. I do wish it came with a case or bag but I used the one from my old tripod and it fit just fine. So far so good.

This is a very good tripod for the money. The unipod is a very nice touch and comes in handy being incorporated in the tripod. A couple of problems: a) the bubble level is not the best quality and is not located in a good place. b) the carry handle has a plastic piece that snaps to the inside (underside) of the handle and it tends to come loose often depending on how the carry handle gets moved around. Otherwise, I like it.

Works really well. Alot of options for how you want to set this up. Its just a big heavier than it needs to be, which is great if you need the stability in places like outdoor with winds

Comparing it to my old tripod, I’m glad I was able to purchase this item to support the weight of my DSLR camera after breaking my len with my old tripod. Best investment so far.

I love how well this tripod was made and the fact that it is also a single stand as well. Just need to get used to changing stands. I find it a bit hard, but I am sure with continuous use it will get easier.
