I bought this compact tripod for still timelapse photos. I didn't like the plastic head parts, but the legs are solid. I ended up buying a Manfrotto, spending more money than the Sunpak. You get what you pay for, and I just wanted something a little sturdier. Not a bad tripod for light use.

I use this and another attachment to hold my phone while I give zoom webinars. It frees up my hands and allows me to stand and move. It has a sturdy base that locks in the position, and different balance levels to measure against. Very sturdy and easy to set up.

the second time I used it the leg support broke

The second time I used this the leg support broke. It was passed the 15 day mark to bring back so I contacted sunpak and they said I would have to pay for shipping so they could look at it and determine if the warranty would cover it. So I paid 60 dollars for their defective product and they want me to shell out an additional 20 dollars for them to see if a broken leg support is covered under their warranty.I will never ever ever ever buy anything from this company again.

Needed a tripod. Thought I was getting a really good one. And it worked great the first few times I used it. Then....the trouble started. Currently, there appears to be something loose in the middle section. The camera is not as steady as it was, regardless as to how tight the screw is turned. Other than that, it's lightweight and easy to manipulate.

Excellent product and very sturdy. Well built and can accommodate pretty much any equipment. Bets feature is the quick release plate for what ever you have mounted. I actually purchased 2. Great buy.

This is an excellent tripod. It remains steady, and all of the locks maintain a perfect picture situation for your camera. However, when you need to be on the go and hurrying from picture to picture, then all you have to do is pull out the monopod and you are set. A great deal for two necessary tools in one great package.

This tripod is really solidly constructed for the price and I am satisfied with that. I need the tripod to point directly down most of the time and it does that easily. Likewise, when I want to change the settings it is easy to do. I don't go backpacking with it so I don't mind the weight and actually find the weight reassuring.
