    I haven't used the tripod but bought this specifically for the monopod which works just as described. It's lightweight so easy to carry around.

    We bought it for business use where it requires for slightly more load or holding a heavier object. It works fine although we would like to be a little bit more stronger for heavy duty use . With monopod and tripod in one package, it is a great value and design.

    This is the first tripod I've purchased, without knowing much about them, and I do not regret it. All I knew is that I wanted something tall to prepare certain shots and angles at a wedding and it didn't disappoint. Also being compatible by morphing into a Monopod as well, gave me the opportunity to experiment with that too. Overall, great build and quality, and definitely ended up using it more than I thought.

    I purchased this for taking pics of family sporting events. I can use it as either a full tri-pod or quickly convert it into a mono-pod when the actions starts up. Fits perfectly into my slingback camera bag.
