Customers are saying

Customers commend the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 2-in-1 70" Tripod and Monopod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price. Many users also appreciate the convenience of the included monopod. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the product's construction and the smoothness of its panning motion, while others noted its size may be difficult to transport.

There are some rough spots where the monopod slides into the tripod. It scratched the paint right away. As far as usability... It's served it's purpose so far. I might go for something a little heavier next time. It's not super stable when full extended. But in an open area it works just fine. I do like the monopod option. Overall I'm happy with it.

Decent tripod for the price. I would have liked it to be a little sturdier than it is, but it is still way better than many I've tried. Accessing the monopod is not intuitive. Most of the controls are intuitive and easy to work. All in all a good value.

I really enjoy taking HDR photos, so having a tripod makes this much simpler. However, I always had to decide with *pod to take with me...the monopod or the tripod. Now I can carry both in one package. True it's a little heavy but it beats fighting two things when I don't know which one to walk out the door with.

Just the thing to tote around from place to place with your cameras. Why? Because in addition to everything else it does it is LIGHT. Try it out before getting a more expensive rig.

Absolutely fabulous tripod. Works very well with a full size DSLR and a 70-300mm zoom. Easy to use, solid design and great customer support. Love it as much as my carbon fiber Manfrotto. Highly recommended for the avid photographer.
