Customers are saying

Customers commend the PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 2-in-1 70" Tripod and Monopod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and reasonable price. Many users also appreciate the convenience of the included monopod. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the product's construction and the smoothness of its panning motion, while others noted its size may be difficult to transport.

I love this tri-pod combo! The mono pod pops right out, if needed. The leg locks are solid. The camera height is 6.5 feet off the ground. The handle makes it great for carrying, while collapsed and moving around, while full expanded.

It's of acceptable quality, sturdy enough, but it's nice that it has a hook under it to hang something for added weight and support.

This item was a great buy for me, unfortunately I had to return it as it was much to big for what I needed. I will buy this again when and if the need arises, but I just needed something a bit smaller and lighter.

This is my first tripod and I am loving it. It is easy to setup and use. When done it collapses simply. It has a handle for carrying and is not that heavy as you might think.

I bought this tripod for cost, availability and functionality. It's not expensive and you can get the job done in many ways. Biggest trouble is that the top mount isn't all that sturdy so you hold the camera and mount to get that great shot. It's like a bushing isn't an exact fit...but a great buy for the price.

Both the monopod and tripod have been put to the test in the mountains of Colorado and the desert of New Mexico. They have endured drops on the trail as well as in streams without any issues.

It's not a high end item but I love the fact that I have a monopod and tripod in one contraption. Was purchased when traveling because I forgot my tripod but now I use it for everything.

This tripod is decent, but isn’t quite as stout as I thought. I do a lot of outdoor/nature/wildlife photography and this tripod works well enough, but it probably won’t last a year the way I use it. It’s a good choice for a hobbyist or someone that will be largely stationary, but not so much for those that move around a lot.

I’m a cameraman for a high school football team and we travel a lot. This tripod is extremely durable and the conversion to a monopod has come extremely handy. Quite stable and very smooth movements.
