The unit is actually very nice but has draw backs. Don't like the twist lock on the legs. Would love the lever type lock. Not study enough to hold a canon 5d . Had to really stretch out the legs- this is not a drawback but an impossible wish so this is not a complaint.

This tripod stores really well because it folds in on itself, has plenty of wiggle room for height for different shots. I definitely recommend this stand and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Great Tripod, A Little Too Expensive

I picked up this tripod while in a pinch and Best Buy was the only option I had. Picked it up with the intention of returning it, but ended up keeping it because it’s actually a pretty solid tripod. I do think it’s a tiny bit overpriced because you can get equivalent Neewer tripods off amazon for half the cost, but if you don’t mind that, then this is a great option!

I purchased the open box online & it was in pristine condition EXCEPT it was missing the quick release plate that holds your camera to the tripod. Not a huge deal on its own as it was significantly reduced in price because of said missing part. My only issue was no where on the Best Buy website did it list that. When I went to pick it up - it was noted on the package, so had I of bought it in store, I would have known. It would just be nice if there was a notice section on their website to list any important details such as missing parts. Otherwise in excellent condition & love that it comes with a carrying case!

Great for recording sports matches. My son uses it with the JOBY - GripTight ONE Mount for Mobile Phones and he can record entire volleyball matches while he plays. The long adjustable legs and super light weight frame make for the perfect tripod.
