I have a very heavy telescopic lens and I have had a difficult time finding a tripod with a head that will hold up under the weight of the lens. Finally, one that is not plastic on metal. High quality, love it!

I love this tripod. It is quick to set up thanks to the twist lock legs, and sturdy once set up. I maybe would've preferred a different type of quick release, but that is a minor issue. Overall I am very happy with it.

I really like this tripod because it is really sturdy and did just great when I had my 70-300mm lens. The only thing I would knock it for is if trying to angle the camera straight up other then that well worth the buy.

Love this thing!! I use it all the time!! Its my back up to the buns tripod that I have used... The 4 stars is because of it the steam is hard to pull up and and down.. Which needs to be oiled up or something... Also the rubber feet does not stay on for too long...

Bought this when my original tripod broke, The ball mount is nice, the only thing that would be nicer would be a handle for panning. Otherwise the fact that it compacts down so small is wonderful.

Fast and easy to set up and use compact but sturdy design.
Works well for stills.
Cons: small knobs not well suited for pan or tracking with video. No option for ground spike on feet.

Purchased this in a pinch when my secondary tripod broke before a big shoot. It has now found itself part of my kit. Did not expect this quality and versatility so I am extremely pleased!

Since this item was new and a Best Buy Exclusive, there were no reviews out. So I took a chance. I'm glad I did, as I find this to be a pretty good tripod for the price, sturdy, compact, etc. And now it sells for $20 more!

I'm not a pro, but this handled well for me. Material was lightweight and locked everywhere I would expect. It was very compact-able. Shoots in all possible angles and heights. I trusted the stand with our DSLR.

Sturdy tripod with quick setup and quick packing up. Would give 5 stars, but tripod is a bit heavy for hikes and long walking trips. Overall build quality is good and product will last a long time.

I purchased this after my old one broke. I like that the legs fold up and makes it more compact to store. The thing I thought could of been better was where they put the level. They put it under underneath the plate that clips to the tripod so when your camera is on it you can't level the tripod with the camera on because it's blocked. You either have to loosen it to expose it then tighten it back up but at that point you don't no if it's level anymore. Also if anyone is wondering the feet come with regular balls. Wish it would of came with the kind that twist and expose spikes for when you use it on grass dirt etc. Overall I think it's the best one compared to the others with similar pricing.
