I use this for outdoor photography and works well. Supports my canon 5D mark iii with 40mm lens. My larger lens are supposed I feel rig is heavy with larger and less stable.

For the price this is a nice tripod. I would recommend it more if you value portability more than stability. I'm not saying it's unstable, but it's best feature is portability. The only thing I think could improve this would be the locking mechanism for the legs, but then the price would increase too.

Works great as a travel pod. Light enough to add to your backpack and size fits most bottle holders on your backpack. Easily to fold. By no means this is the only tripod you will need if you are looking for an extremely sturdy tripod but this works perfectly for travel needs.

This was my first tripod and I have recently used it a lot. The build quality is excellent and the adjustments are smooth as well as intuitive. The only reason I give it four stars is that the level is under the quick-connect so once your camera is on you cannot re-position it without taking it off.

The tripod is mad of a great materials, the functionality and size are perfect for any trip. I enjoy being able to adjust all legs to be able to fit it wherever it needed to be. The compact size is perfect to fit beside my camera bag with a strap.

5 star for the average photographer or videographer but definitely would want to invest more money into a more professional tripod if it’s for a career. But, it gets the job done for what it is!

The pictures on website looked good but when I opened the box, it blew my mind, the tripod looks much better in real... stunning color and feels amazing. Extremely sophisticated and professional in design and the way it works. A must buy tripod. You can customize pretty much every inch of it.

This is an example of when it's smart to spend a few more dollars than the cheaper $30 tripods. Many of the cheaper ones break or don't rotate smoothly from left to right. Rotation is smooth and doesn't stick like the cheaper tripods that then show as a shake in the video.

Not a bad tripod. I’m using it for soccer. It does good mostly, but sometimes while moving it side to side the head loosens up. Not a huge deal.

Good tripod. A little unstable when fully extended. As long as you don’t extend the bottom legs it should be fine. Not a fan of the lock mechanism for the legs.

I've tried buying this tripod. Twice. The 1st was open box and in terrible shape. It was more like used than open. And I had paid for the "Excellent" condition version. I think It had all the parts but some were loose - plastic wedges from the legs. The legs didn't close/retract evenly. The red twist locks got stuck. The head the camera mounted on didn't lock or twist (it was too small for the threads. I can't believe someone boxed this up, labeled it excellent and shipped it to me. I tried again with brand new. The new one seemed like open box. It was missing directions and parts. There is no plate to mount the camera to the tripod. The open box version came with 2 Allen wrenches but the new one had none. Finally, the legs don't completely retract. There seems to be black plastic washers or bushings by the twisting red locks preventing me from completely collapsing the legs. I could tell it had been opened based on the condition of the box and when I opened it, the tripod wasn't wrapped in a plastic bag. I ordered online and my wife picked it up so she didn't know and I discovered it when she brought it home. It's a shame because it seems like a nice portable design. So, I'll return both and buy a model from a different retailer.

Purchased the Travellite Pro tripod for general use, camera and camcorder. It seems to be very well build and sturdy, but a little heavy. Guess that is due to being well built! I folds and unfolds smoothly, no fighting with it. I like it, it works very well.

If you didn't know, you can actually spend hundreds of dollars on a REAL tripod. This unit here is good enough for beginners to semi serious users. This is not a pro tripod at all but great for this price.

I'm only giving it 4 at the moment because I've only gotten to use this once but it was great. Very well may change it to a 5 after some more use. It's great especially the construction and how it can change sizes so fast for different uses.

I bought this for my husband because he insists on taking a tripod with us when we travel. It came highly recommended by the salesperson. I liked that it comes with its own travel case to keep it protected when my husband puts it in his backpack

this tripod has been a great addition to my photo gig on the go with it's travel size. Like the easy twist lock for legs other stands has tabs that sometimes loses it grip and breaks over time. Only con is there is no handle to rotate with.

I purchased this tripod as an “impulse buy” prior to a trip to Las Vegas. I wanted a compact, functional tripod to pack in my suitcase to accompany my Nikon D-SLR. This tripod exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend it!
