    i went into the store looking for a manfrotto tripod but liked the build quality of this one more. only let down is that it doesn't have a fluid head. other then that its a pretty good compact tripod. (Note; 2 days after i paid full price the tripod went down 50%) would have been nice to know.)

    Tripod is very light so don't recommend for anything heavy, but the fact that it is light makes it very portable in a pinch. Pretty well built for the money, but it's no where near the quality of a set of pro legs. For the size and weight, though, it works well for lighter equipment.
