Save your money, buy something else. The part that moves and swivels at the top of the middle stretch, it unscrewed from the main part of the tripod never to go back on again. And there's no way to coordinate the legs which can be helpful in uneven ground or it can make things unstable and break your camera. But the top coming off that was the reason it gets a 1 star.

Garbage. Little plastic pieces inside the leg tubes came out and one got stuck, so the leg won’t go back in. What a waste of money.

After a year of light use this tripod simply fell apart. I used it in the sand a couple times and that did not make it happy at all. If you want a tripod that lasts, this is definitely not it. Not recommended.

I went to Best Buy store at Dublin and was casually looking for a tripod. I opened the box and tested the tripod at the store. It seemed very easy to use, lightweight, sturdy and goes up to 63 inches. You can also adjust the legs whichever way you wanted and hope that it will be easy to set this tripod up across any tilted areas like hills. Was confused between this and Sunpak - PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 2-in-1 70" Tripod and Monopod but this one was offering a free case, was lighter and folded to 15 inches which the other was not. Best buy is still giving this tripod at the Black Friday price and I didn't hesitate to buy this today

I do not understand how this has good reviews. It is impossible to get this camera level as it sits on a rotating ball that can never keep the camera parallel to the floor. The legs are cheap and flimsy; no matter how tight you make them, they will still not stay locked.

Built cheaply. I do professional shots everyday and I don’t recommend this tripod. I wish I could have my money back but Best Buy only issues a two week return policy.

I guess you get what you pay but not ideal if you want to move the camera left or right because it doesn't come with a nice stick to move the camera around

While I appreciate that many pros like to invest big bucks into a tripod, I use one so seldom it's not worth it to me - I saw this one on sale at BB while picking up something else, and bought it on the spot (thanks for having a display model out, BB - I wouldn't have bought it if you'd only had the boxed ones to look at). Jury's out on how long it will hold up, of course, but feature-wise it's great: lightweight, very adjustable, and the included ball head is a solid and pleasant surprise. Works beautifully with my m43 setup, and I suspect will be fine for my larger Canon rig too if I attach a larger ball head to accommodate heavier long lenses. Easy leg adjustment (I prefer this arrangement to flip levers), and it folds down to next to nothing. Great lightweight and relatively inexpensive addition to my gearbag, and a bargain at the price I paid compared to other similar tripods out there.
