I needed a tripod small enough to fold inside a standard backpack but still able to provide height for my DSLR to rest on. Comes with a level indicator which has been helpful. I can easily adjust the legs on uneven ground since I primarily shoot outdoors. It is lightweight and not heavy or cumbersome. Cheaper than most tripods.

Super light and versatile tripod. Easy to carry on a trip. It is so light that camera handling can move the tripod too.

This item is okay, would not recommend for a person with knowledge around a camera for use, not as stable as I personally like. I needed a quick back up to my normal one and this did the trick short term. You get what you pay for. Perfect for a beginner just starting out or if you need one in a bind like I did. Also surprisingly light weight so could be used for hiking trips.

As an avid video-photographer I have large tripods for regular use. I got this for mounting flash guns and for holding my laser indoor shooting range target receiver. For what I use it for it is great, lightweight and easy to setup and store when done. The will hold smaller point and shoot/bridge cameras, action cams, or devices under 2 pounds/1Kg.

If you want a tripod that is easy to carry and can extend to almost the size of a big one, this tripod is perfect for you. Obviously it is not as sturdy as a more expensive one and it does not sit as firm as other ones, but overall a very good tripod.

I will start by saying that this is fairly delicate, but that is part of the trade-off when you want lightness. Wife & I are not pro's, just take our camera along on our daily walk. We don't always "need" a tripod but it does aid stability when taking video, especially at longer distances of 100 yards to 1/2 mile, often just bracing it against the body, sort of monopod style.
When we do use it as a tripod it deploys and sets up quickly. There is a built-in bubble level if it is important to the user. The camera (and smart phone) adapter makes attaching and detaching the camera almost instantaneous. When fully extended, the thinnest segments of the legs can leave the camera prone to jiggling in strong breezes, which may not be a bother if you're not doing distant shots.
Our only bit of bother comes from the adapter for full size cameras being quite broad. It's size is meant to spread load, but it restricts battery access on our Nikon B500. Our camera uses four AA cells and if we need to swap them out while recording on our walk, requires removing the adapter to fully open the battery chamber door. An annoyance, but not bothersome enough for us to replace the tripod. We're quite pleased with it.

This is the third Tripod I have bought recently. The first and second were bought at ebay and I am not happy with them, the materials used are far from a good quality. In a recent visit to Best Buy I found this Sunpak tripod with prices equal or better than ebay listings. Been in the store it was easy for me to inspect the item, it is made of good quality materials and the price was hard to beat. Using the tripod is easy, I have a number of cameras and it fits well on either of them, it also comes with a cel adaptor so I can use it with cameras as well as my iphone.
In conclusion I am very happy with the product and I really recomend it to anyone who is looking for a tripod.

I have a DSLR(Nikon D5600) and 2lb lens(Sigma 18-35mm), it is a little much for this tripod. It will hold but wobbles at the slightest bump. Will probably work best for Point and Shoot Cameras or something with a lighter prime/kit lens. Very lightweight. travels with me everywhere.

Bought this on sale and it's great for its value. A little on the lighter side so it doesn't do too well with heavy winds but it's easy to use very practical for its price.

Its a good tripod and gets pretty tall, but its a little wobbly at times, and you have to really make sure the legs lock in place at the right height.
Other than that its a pretty good and straightforward product

The tripod lifted the camera high enough to view a whiteboard without having a table in the background. The feet neatly adjusted so that the view the camera picked up was perfectly horizontal despite the floor being curvy. That said, there was a little tip on the mount that was pushed out of its position when I tried to put the camera on the tripod, although this didn't affect the camera's view. For the price, this tripod is good for outdoor environments and indoor ones if the subject is not sitting (the tripod's lowest height was too tall to fit on a desk).

Bought this for a motorcycle touring trip, it was small enough to pack, studdy enough for a Canon Camera. Light weight and thin. Best product for traveling and easy to use.

Very lightweight but it does feel flimsy. I bought it for my son so that he can put his phone on it and record it. It's perfect for that but for my DSLR, no way. Overall, easy to use for basic use.

I bought this tripod for our family trip to Germany. I especially liked how compact it was and ease of use. It comes with a small travel pouch that makes it easy to pack for a hike or while you are out exploring. Only con is it is light weight and succestible to high winds.

Strictly for indoor use. Legs are light and somewhat flimsy, hence the “strictly for indoor use” comment. Do not use outside on windy or breezy days. Easy to set up. Light enough to carry in a backpack within its included carry bag.

It is a great price for this, but it feels a little weak. It has been VERY useful and since it is very light it does not bother carrying it around... so it is a nice trade off robustness-comfort.

I use this as a tripod for lighting. It’s a little too wobbly for a camera in my opinion but works great holding small led light sources.

I use this as a travel tripod and it does fine, it’s a bit loose at the hinges and when angling the camera you have to really crank down on the bolt or it will slowly slide. But, for the price it’s definitely worth it.

This one is great for travelling. It's light, sets up quickly and clamps in shape. Be careful if it's breezy out, but it's quite steady otherwise. I use it mostly with a DSLR and have found the cell phone adapter very useful too.
