Needed a tripod for my phone and the associate was so helpful and corteous. I originally wanted a tripod specifically for my cellphone but the price was outside my budget, Luckily, with the associates help I got a camera tripod and it works perfectly. Its steady and has additional equipment to mount tour phone or go pro. It a wxactly what i asked for. Also, got it proce matched which reduced the cost a little.

The tripod is very durable and easy to handle. I use it perfectly with my camera.

There seem to be a few reviews that insist this tripod is poorly constructed and will fall apart after one or two uses. I’m the kind of fella that naturally takes care of his things. I understand that the lightweight travel characteristics of this tripod are achieved with a soft, hollow aluminum construction. With that being said, it should be understood that you can’t just toss this thing around and expect it to perform for any length of time. I carefully extend and retract the legs, and I don’t push/pull the friction adjusters with a lot of force so as to preserve the plastic. When you want to utilize the various swivel functions, be sure that you’ve loosened the friction locks accordingly. Otherwise, you can expect the plastic components to eventually break prematurely. Seriously, when it comes to gear at this price point, you just need to be gentle with it and take care of it, and it’ll serve you well. I’ve completed several shoots and a cross-country road trip using this tripod with no issues.

Feels fragile and not the great product for photography

You get what you pay for i guess. This tripod worked well for a while when used with a cell phone, it broke pretty quickly when being used with an actual camera. Id recomend saving money and buying a quality tripod(Benro/manfrotto/etc.), as the last thing you want is your camera tipping and breaking.
