I was looking into purchasing an entirely different tripod prior to purchasing the sunpak ultra pro 643 but my husband decided to try this one. After using it twice I decided to keep it. It’s sturdy and holds my sony a7sii secure that I feel comfortable enough to walk away from it. I’ve tried other tripods that weren’t as sturdy and had either unlatched or collapsed while using. I would recommend to friends and family.

I realized that for good macro pictures a good tripod was necessary. I had a not so bad tripod but was not satisfy because of the shaking and vibration. That situation prompted me to visit Best Buy and ask for advice. Advice was given by the sales associate, Conrado, and I bought the best of the best. Very happy with the SunPak Ultra Pro 643. Excellent construction without spending a fortune.

I had an inexpensive model which worked fine for awhile. Recently the legs kept slipping and wouldn't stay locked. The Sunpak Ultra Pro 643 is an excellent upgrade. Very sturdy, solidly built. I've been using it almost daily over the past couple of weeks and couldn't be pleased more!

I got this tripod so I could do some professional headshots, and in my opinion the quality is great, an is tall enough for my tall clients. Im glad I got this tripod, so easy to set up and take down plus it was able to hold my Sony A7iii with a heavy lens with no issues whatsoever.

I hate the cork mounting bracket because it provides no grip and my camera twists around no matter how tight the screw is. The plastic clips are not great for locking a tripod; if you make sure they aren't too tight they won't break, but the design is not the best. This tripod sucks for the price, but the carbon fiber does make it lightweight and portable.

I've been very happy with this tripod and would recommend it for anyone starting to shoot video. It has a fluid head for both pan and tilt, so a very big plus and it is very light-weight when compared to other tripods of the same price.
