Great little tripod- holds my Nikon D800 (with battery grip) and a 600mm Tamron lens with no problem (combined about 15lbs).... Stays rock steady.

This is the best tripod I have ever owned. It makes setting up easier, very strong and durable material and easy to work with. I can't really find anything bad to say as it is the best tripod upgrade I have ever had.

It cracked in a small fall. I couldn't believe it. Maybe it was a multifactorial fall. Anyway, that's why I'm going to give it 3 points instead of 1. That's how I rate things that I can't calculate.

If you are looking for a light weight and versatile tripod this one works pretty well. It is a little long when collapsed, but still very portable.

Very light weight and the legs are sturdy but with a heavy lens, the upper joints slip.

Was light weight, had to return as tripod head would not tighten and remain stable with my camera attached.

If you are looking to buy this tripod, please purchase a replacement head for proper use as the included head doesn't work correctly. To be specific, the plate is loose when camera is mounted causing the plate to move on the head. Also, the plate lever release pin doesn't easily move when mounting the camera to tripod. The legs are just ok... But the head is a total disaster. I'm just a couple days past best buy return period or I would certainly return this item.

This tripod is a little finicky and hard to extend for the price. The only thing that I loved about it is that it allowed you to take vertical video on the camera. The plate is able to tilt which is convenient. Defiantly more of a set it and forget it tripod. If that's what you are looking for then it should work fine.

I know that I probably just didn't have a properly rated set-up (Nikon D70s with a 1000 mm Celestron) but I had hoped it would be perfect for photographing the eclipse. Unfortunately if you have it faced significantly upward it tends to be difficult to adjust and cannot really get under it to see the viewfinder. Probably work fine for just the Nikon and doing level shots.

Overall great tripod, only downside if any is effort required to extend the legs and adjust
