A mixed bag

The course and world creation tools are super nice. The biggest issue is Nintendo's utter hubris in requiring Nintendo Online to access user-made levels. Those are the whole point of buying the game, and there's absolutely no reason to hold 10 kB downloads hostage behind your utterly anemic online subscription. Nintendo has guaranteed user levels will fade into obscurity instead of being shared and preserved by a dedicated mario community. Just another sad, greedy misstep from Nintendo trying to milk their flagship franchise.
