The story mode gets you back into the series and allows you to learn the game on the new controller(s), after that you can search courses to your hearts content or play the amazing endless challenge. Great game to kill time with and a great party game.

They added so many more items to use to create fun and challenging levels. This version is way better than the first.

Bought this game for my son's birthday because he loved the first one, and he loves this one even more

I'm having fun with the game, but it definitely doesn't capture the same fun that the first game had. Creating levels isn't easy or as much fun as the first one because of the controller. I know that the Switch has a touch screen, but if you want to live stream or record yourself making levels then you are stuck using a controller. Other than creating levels, it's a good game. Some people are very creative, and now that you can play with friends in couch co-op there is a new level of fun to be had. But just like with the original, the library of other levels is often filled with insane levels or levels that were poorly designed and aren't fun leaving me wanting to just play another Mario game. All in all, I'm giving the game 4/5 stars because there is fun to be had even though I feel like there are some problems. I'm only one person, so maybe I'm wrong.

My six year old has so much fun creating any levels he can dream up. Great creative outlet.

My kid creates a course and i try to beat it. Then i icreate a course and we both try to beat it. Great family fun

Great level creator with easy to use functions. Though it is best you buy a stylus before starting to create levels.
