This game is fun. There's a story mode which is short but entertaining. Now, there needs to be a comment on the actual play style. For older gamers that enjoyed classic Mario, this game will not necessarily meet that expectation. This game employs new, creative character transformations and vehicles. Unfortunately, the player created courses are hit or miss, but mostly miss. So, for those older gamers seeking a classic Mario experience,, Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is better option as the levels are classic in design and there are plenty of them. If your a gamer that has dreamed of creating your own levels, then you already know that Mario maker 2 is right for you.

You literally have endless Mario levels. This game will forever be the best 2d Mario game ever. Unless of course they make a 3rd one for the next console. But that's probably years from now. Get this for endless content!

I bought this game because my son loves to be creative. Whether it be with Legos or Minecraft. He loves this. It is fun watching him come up with new levels and seeing just how creative he is.

Super Mario Maker 2 has exceeded all expectations and the high bar left by the first game. There is a single-player story mode, tons of new tools, and literally infinite courses on line. MUST HAVE FOR SWITCH OWNERS!

Another terrific entry in the series, great standard game and even better for using your imagination to create levels, solo or with friends and family.

great game if you like classic mario games or any platformer ... create your own levels or play people's created levels ... new with mario maker 2 is multiplayer, both co-OP and vs are both fun and rewarding!

It is a great game that lets build your own MARIO levels and it lets you play on other people’s worlds and you can play with other people and with your friends, overall it is a great game for all ages!

Super Mario Maker 2 is a great Mario experience. There is a full-fledged story mode, as well as endless user-generated content. The story mode alone is a great standalone 2D Mario game, and is a fun experience. As for the user-generated content (with themes from super mario bros 1, 3, wii, and super mario 3d world wii u), as long as you have an online membership ($20 USD a year) and an internet connection, there is a nearly unlimited selection of levels to play through. Unfortunately you cannot play with your friends online (only local or local internet), but the developers said they will add multiplayer capabilities with your friends in a future update. If you love mario or love creating levels, this is a perfect game.

This is such a neat game and my son loves getting to create his own levels. This was the first game he picked to buy for his new Nintendo Switch and he plays it more than his other two games even still!

is a good game if you are creative however if you don't like building stuff don't buy this instead buy Super Mario odyssey really fun game i will recommend this .

Great game that fosters creativity and suitable for all ages and skill levels. Recommend getting the Nintendo online account so you can access levels created by other players.

Wow wow I love this Mario maker 2,It has many ways you can create many levels..I love playing this game so much,it's graphics is so bright and great.Kids and adults will love playing this game for sure.

After this, you don’t need another 2D Mario game. Single player is fun, making your own level takes some patience but is worth the time investment and the online community is supporting the game heavily.

My kids love it. It's fun to see the various traps, characters, and devices from original and modern Mario titles. They enjoy making levels for each other to play through.

My kids love this game. They love building new levels for one another cross all Mario generations . It is also nice to be able to go online and play other builders boards. Preset boards are also nice.

Infinite replay value. Worth the purchase even when not on sale. The original Mario Maker recently stopped allowing uploads of newly created levels but all the ones already there are staying to be played! Assuming this sequel follows suit, you'll have tons of things to play for many years ahead. Has a short single player story mode to familiarize you with the systems and controls of the game as well as endless user created courses. Tons of fun multiplayer with friends as well whether you play on levels not meant for multiplayer (which gets hilarious) or the ones made specifically for them, it's never boring.

This game is a lot of fun and you can play so many unique levels others have made or if you want you can design your own levels and worlds. The main storyline play is great also!

This is a great family and friends type game. Something easy to get into. Even if you’re not going to make levels. Much fun can be had with the levels that they have prebuilt and the online levels.

Better then the first since it was on the ds , i got this cause my family loves super mario and why not make it challeging with maming own levels to try
