This new game has great boards, great rules to modify (including a "Pro" mode for those that think that bonus stars are BS) and a lot of great mini games. Some of the extra modes are OK, nothing more than an occasional diversion to try out but if you have young kids they will love them. One knock is that I do wish there were more mini games, but top to bottom this has been a great return to Mario Party after a few missteps the last few games.

The boards have so much style and uniqueness and the online modes are fun and add a lot more replay ability to the game. With more characters to pick from then ever before. I do hope that we get a more definitive Co-op party mode in the future, something this game is lacking, but I'm happy to see Mario Party finally getting back to what made it so great in the first place.
