fun to play with friends and family. can't go wrong with this game

The last couple Mario Party games have been pretty sub par and lacked the original board game mode. This one brings it back along with a few new modem and feels great. 90% of the mini games are well done and fun, but unsurprisingly there are some stinkers. The Co Op games get old fast as well. Tons of characters to choose from and it actually effects how you play because of the new character dice mechanic. Each character has a unique die that will be different from the standard 6 side. All 4 boards are pretty solid although I wish there were at least one or two more to add some variety. As is, this is exactly what you would ask for from a new Mario Party even if it's a little bare bones. Hopefully Nintendo will update to add boards, minigames, and more online functionality to just take it from a 4 star experience to 5 stars.

This is a very fun game and great for a small party. Also easy for younger kids to use to play some simple games. Worth the money.

Mario party is so fun and engaging. I love that some of the mini games give you a workout too. Definitely recommend it for all ages

Lots of mini games just note that only Joycon controllers work i had to buy a second set after buying the game because i didn't pay attention

Just purchased & already love it! Lots of fun! Takes me back to my childhood days. Fun to play with others as well.

This version goes back to the every man for himself aspect of mario parties past instead of the team vs bowser aspect that wasn't so great. The new boards have some interesting new features that make it truly random who gets the next star, which really helps get a new winner each game. Each character also has their own dice block which has a wildly different set of numbers than the normal 1-6. Most of the character dice blocks introduce at least one or two 0 spaces, but they may add in and 8 or a 10 to counterbalance the risk. The other party games don't seem all that interesting and I haven't even played then. Also the lack of more boards are the reason that I've dropped it a star. None of that stops this from being the best mario party game in recent memory, especially when you have a group of 4 to play.

I’ve been really enjoying this game playing with my family quite frequently. It’s easy to learn and there are lots of different mini games.

My son and I love playing Super Mario Party. This is our 3rd or 4th Super Mario game. Love the effects in this one. Hours of fun.

Works just like the previous Mario Party versions just with different graphics and many mini games to play. Great game to play as a family.

It has been a while since I played Nintendo games and I forgot all about how intuitive and extremely fun it is to play with friends and family! The party games were super fun, but not just casual games like old Wii games. It required some getting used to and some discipline too. I could see people can get somewhat serious about it, which is always good to play with "advanced" gamers. This will be a great entertainment option to have during the holidays and to play with the entire family. I absolutely enjoyed it!

Super Mario party has been so fun to play and is the reason why we bought another set of remotes. It is fun and the graphics look great.

Super Mario Party is a must have game for the Nintendo Switch! It's just like the classic Mario Party that you used to play on the DS. It brought me and the family so many childhood memories. You could go hours playing one game. This game comes with multiple modes, one of my new favorites is the row boat mode, you have to work together to make the boat shift to the direction you want it to go. This is a must try game!

If you loved the old style Mario Party where everyone was a single player instead of the terrible car sharing versions as of late with atrociously forced motion controls, you are in luck! Classic style Mario party is back and just as fun as I remembered but with better graphics. There are still quite a few gimmicky motion control mini games, and I am disappointed in the limited 4 boards to choose from, but other than that the game is excellent! I am hoping for some DLC in the future to add boards and additional mini games.

Now a days there are so many games that require you to be on the internet and there is little to no local co-op. This is what I missed and love about Nintendo. They don't try and squeeze you to play with friends. Mario Party is an excellent game that you can play with anyone! It is very friendly and uses all the capabilities a joy-con controller can offer. There are plenty of game modes as well to keep you interested even after 50 hours of gameplay. Really recommend this game to anyone that enjoy's local co-op games!

My girlfriend and I love playing this and it's a lot of fun with a TON of minigames and a great deal of variety. But there are only 3 maps to play on and it can get somewhat repetitive, but playing with a group makes it enjoyable.
