So much fun!! Purchased this game for my 7 year old. The first time we played we played for about 3 hours. The variety of games allow for any age to enjoy. Each mini game provides each player an opportunity to master a level. I found this to be beneficial as young kids get a little upset if they lose it if a game is too hard, the levels (which are relatively easy) make faking fun and each of us have really enjoyed it.

Recent versions of Mario Party had a mechanic where all players rode in a vehicle together across the board which just simply wasn't as fun. That is gone. This version includes 4 boards to start with. They seem smaller than previous versions and less-interactive, but still fun to play. The real focus of any Mario Party game is the mini-games. The mini-games are great and some can be played online against other players. There are a number of other modes to play - a river game, a rhythm game, and just straight-up mini game play. There are unlockables that can be earned by playing. Some of them can be unlocked via Amiibo activations. Overall, we're having a lot of fun with it. Hoping they release more boards via DLC. If you're a fan of Mario Party, it's a must-have.

A way to play with the family but only downside is the controllers only the joy cons work with it but still a good game

This was a great way to get the family together to play a game. Great graphics and fun new minigames.

It's a fun friendly family game. Can play with a group of people or alone it does not matter.

I have this one niece who used to say she “hates videogames.” Because this one is silly and doesnt require someone to be so “good” at videogames, she actually enjoys playing this with the rest of us. So buying this game was a win all around.

Mario games never disappoint. It does get a bit redundant after a while. But a good game for the family.

Fun for everyone so many mini games and going at them with your family and friends make it so much fun!! My kids and I play all the time never are bored no matter how much we’ve played. Games do take us average about 45 min to an hr but it’s always super fun

This is still the same fun Mario Party I had growing up but now with eye-pleasing graphics and a good assortment of minigames. Not a whole lot of content for your buck, however. I would wait for a sale.

This feels like it’s going back to the drawing board for what Mario Party is, and that’s a great thing. It’s become so bloated and too many gimmicks to try to top the next one and the next one. This is like Mario Party 2.0. Simple boards, mini games that’s are actually fun, and lots of great times to be had. Only wish there were more than. 3 boards and they had a little more to them. But if you want som fun with your friend or family then definitely don’t miss out on getting this!

Nintendo was lazy with this game. There are only a few maps. When you play online, you cannot match-make with others on a full map unless you have friends on your Switch Online account that you can manually invite. I loved the old Mario Party games since Nintendo 64, so it was a bit disappointing that Nintendo put this lackluster game out. Where I was really happy was when I was able to get 4 people together in a living room, being able to play with some younger cousins, it brought back all the nostalgia from my childhood. Just so you know, you can only play this with joy-cons, so you'll need to buy or burrow 2 others to play on 4 players. If you can get 4 friends easily to play together with, then this is a must buy!!!!
