This game is super fun and finally gets rid of the weird car mechanic from the past two games. This is definitely a favorite if you are planning on having people over and the games are simple enough that anyone can enjoy them and feel like they can win. Definitely pick this one up if you like mario party or are looking for a fun game to play with your friends!

This game brought the fun back to Mario party! Mario party 10 was a huge let down for me so I was stoked for this game, it is very family friendly and easy to pick up and learn. My one con is the online play, I thought I would be able to play all games with my friends online but it is limited to about 7-10 games... I hope they fix this with a patch in the future!

I picked up Super Mario Party the day it came out. I had been watching videos at home leading up to the release, and I think it was worth the hype! My only regret was spoiling the mini games. I enjoy playing this game alone, with my boyfriend, or groups of friends. I even played with my friend's kid, and it was still pretty fun. Fun for all, definitely get this game!

Loads of fun! The minigames are incredibly imaginative and the use of the controller haptics adds to the diversity and excitement of play. Great for all ages!

With all the different available modes, including a co-op version of the board game and a full-on 4 player team mode, this game keeps your family from being at each other's throats, which was always a worry on previous Mario Party games. It's a blast, and you only need a single Joy Con per person, so it's not as controller-heavy as other party games can be.

Finally, a new Mario Party that returns to the classic ways! Mario Party 10 on the Wii-U made all of the players move together in a 'vehicle,' so the bonuses, power-ups, and bad spaces were used whether you got them or not. This one, you finally all move as separate pieces again! It's so much fun, and allows for literal hours of play on one board if you like!

Finally a game the whole Family can enjoy and challenge each other. I like that my younger little ones can challenge my older kids and be competitive with each other. Yes, there are other games similar to this one, though I’ve enjoyed playing this one more with my kids then any other at the time of this writing.

Amazing game, easy to understand, fun to to play, even has motion controls with the switch controller. If playing with more than 2 people, you would need 1 or more joycons.

Very fun game easy to play for one player or multiplayer

My wife and I absolutely LOVE this game, even a year into having it. There is a partnered mode where you can team up against the computer, and it's our absolute favorite. Other than that, there are many game modes and we loved exploring them as a team. It's great to play alone against the computers, too. The only reason it doesn't get 5 starts is because: 1) There's no DLC for more maps (please give us more!!) 2) There's no online play for the normal game modes, only to play mini games.

This game is fun, and will provide a lot of laughs, but is definitely a "play with friends" game, it's just not as fun without friends there.

You can have a quick game that lasts an hour or play mini games for hours. Only downside is only being able to use the small Switch controllers

Not the best Mario party but I can’t complain. It just doesn’t get old to me and it’s a lot of fun for the whole family. I like to bring my switch to family functions and people just can’t seem to stop playing this game, you will be stuck saying “just one more mini game” for at least an hour. If anyone gives this a negative review then they must be poor sports

Great family game or playing by yourself. My 7 yr old loves it

A lot of fun. We play with our 8 and 12 year olds sometimes, and our 5 year old likes to mess around on their own (they're not able to play competently enough for group gameplay yet). Some of the mini games are better than others, but overall a fun game and a great addition to family game night.

Bought this game to be able to have a family game night! It's been great for playing with everyone in the family. So far, I was able to connect up to 4 players by purchasing 2 additional controllers for the switch. Lots of great mini games and very family friendly. I recommend this to anyone looking for multi-player games.

Such a fun game! My husband and I played for hours! The only think that I don’t enjoy is you can only use the joy-con controllers, which is not the most convenient or easy to use but I think the thing that makes up for that is before each mini game they let you rehearse and show you exactly what to do.
