A Return to the OriginalFormula
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch is a pleasant return to the original Mario Party formula that made the series so popular on the Nintendo 64. With a focus on quicker transitions between turns, innovative mini-games that make use of the Joy Cons, and an expanded Nintendo roster, Super Mario Party is a solid party game on the Nintendo Switch. If you are looking for a game to enjoy amongst friends, Super Mario Party is a great game to add to your Nintendo Switch library.

Fun game but limited
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a return to the classic Mario Party experience after that odd cart mechanic from the previous iteration. The game has the classic Mario Party gameplay of moving around the board and playing minigames but also introduces other modes to vary up the fun. While these modes are all fun, they do feel limited as it feels the time put into each mode takes away from the others. For example, the standard game only has 4 boards when the other main games usually had about 6 or more

It’s Mario Party
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s Mario party... if you haven’t played Mario party at least once in your life... you’re not doing it right. It’s the monopoly of video games... but better, and you don’t end the game hating your family members as much. It’s great. Fun for the whole family/friends.

Fun for the family
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can’t go wrong with a Mario Party game. Bought it to play with my 5 year old daughter. She enjoys the mini games when I explain to her what she needs to do. Probably meant for older children. But when they get used to it they’re just as skilled as an adult.

Extremely addictive - a must have on Switch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I played the game at a friends and we enjoyed it so much, we went out and purchased our own Nintendo Switch, extra Joy Con, and a copy of this game for ourselves. The ability to play just the mini games vs. the traditional board game is great for a quick match against friends. I highly recommend it.

Just as good as N64
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would definitely recommend this to anybody that is a fan of past Mario Party games as well as anybody on the fence that is unfamiliar with this franchise. It’s a super fun game that I can play with all my nieces and nephews, friends, and my fiancé, and it’s also fun to just play against the PC. Very happy!

Funnest Mario Party Yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is addictive! Play with friends or vs. computers by getting the most stars in mini games unlocking new worlds. There's a wide variety of characters to choose from. It's fun rolling the dice and moving down the game board spaces as you discover new items/allies.

Really Fun to Play with Friends
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife and I bought this to play amongst each other as well with friends. We additionally bought 3 other controllers but found out you just turn one of the two joy cons horizontally and play with that. Meaning you can use One set of joy cons for two people. Overall, a great game to buy!

Return to Form
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having played "Mario Party 10" on Wii U, which was fun for my young son, but lacked any depth for adult players, this is a great return to a "classic" style. Me and my family had great fun with the board and minigames and has much more depth compared to the last game. Highly recommended with four-players.

New game play is great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In this version of Mario Party, you collect allies (other characters) and are able to use their specific die. This makes the game more strategic and gives you an advantage in some mini games. They new partner (or dual mode) offers a different style of game play than in previous parties. Defiantly worth buying!

A party over here, a party other there...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's always a party with Mario and his friends! Make sure you gather your friends to play this fun filled game. Play as teams or compete individually to see who reigns supreme in party mode. There's mini games like a dancing one that kids of all ages will enjoy and have fun moving to. So get up and party!

Good party game (get it?)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife bought this for me with the idea that we’d both play it. I was bummed it was a bit watered down from previous entries in the series but nonetheless, this game is fun with the misses. Much enjoyment to be had. But only had 4 simplistic boards. But It makes up for it with an assortment of mini games.

Great for families! Uses joycons.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is absolutely amazing to play as a group. It uses the joycons, so make sure you have enough for each family member to use a half joycon (one side of the set of two that get used together with most games). It's also not too difficult for an eight year old.

Great Party Game if you have buddies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting for Mario party for NS since the console was released. Again this is a great game with abundant small games that you can enjoy and both very fun co-op/vs mode. I always think it's the best to have friends sitting together and have some great time instead of playing some online games alone.

Very Fun Game, Especially for Groups
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a very fun game, and it is worth trying if you are looking for a good game to play with a group. You don’t have to enjoy other Mario games to enjoy this one, as I personally do not enjoy other Mario games.

Lacking boards/online variety
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The minigames are very well done. But, the boards are boring and too "easy". Stars only cost 10 coins! This takes a lot of strategy out of the game, even though it is based on luck now. You can only play about 10 minigames online against others, so that gets old fast. Would reccomend if you want to have friends over like old times. Not recommended if you're too busy to get together

Great Game, but A Few Complaints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this game is great. There are so many games to play and it's enjoyable for almost everyone. I do have two minor complaints though, but they're just my opinion. First, I wish you you could other controllers besides the tiny little joy con controller. For kids they might be okay, but either way they aren't very comfortable to use. Second, the instructions during the game play aren't always the most clear. Small details, but just wanted to share them.

Fun with friends, not enough game boards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm glad they went back to the independent player movement, unlike previous games where all players moved at once. Some of the mini-games are...not so great, but overall I enjoy the game. Not a huge fan of having to use the joycons exclusively, but the controls don't feel super gimmicky so I can live with it. Biggest complaint is the lack of boards. There are four, one of which has to be unlocked. I assume there will be more released as DLC, but still a bummer for now.
