Awesome game take some back to when we had our N64
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun and interactive game that brings friends and family together. My friends and I played last weekend and we had tons of fun and we laughed so much. We are doing round 2 tonight. Game night!

GREAT way to entertain guests.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will be honest, I don't like party games. I prefer single player experiences where I don't have to collaborate with anyone, it says a lot about my personality. But there are times where I am responsible for providing guests with entertainment. The switch was made for that. Snap the controllers in half, pop this game in and as long as you tell everyone to put the safety strap on before you leave the room, you don't have to do any work! Your lawn could be razed by a plasma weapon, and your kitchen could be declared a bio-hazard, but your neighbors will remember winning a mini-game where they have to shake candy out of a bottle.

Good Game to Play With the Kids!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as a warning, my pro controller didn't work and you have to detach the side controllers so find those little brackets that go on top of them! Other than that this was an awesome game to play with my 5 year-old daughter this weekend, a little frustrating at times and not enough levels otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Great Family Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great for parties and family time. There are so many different games to choose from that keep everyone engaged. The games are also easy enough but challenging to make it fun.

Game is so much fun
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this game. So much fun‼️ Mario Party is a great game! I just wish you could use regular controllers with it, but that isn’t a big deal.

Great for all ages!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are multiple modes: work together as a team of 4, 2 teams of 2, or everyone for themselves. There is also a rhythm mode and you can play with to switches together (still only 4 players). You can gain ally's, collect "stickers", and unlock characters. There are motion controls, but they have improved greatly over the Wii version. The only downside to the game is that you cannot play single player handheld mode, you need to be able to detach the joycons from the docks in order to play. It's challenging, silly, fun, and you can play a game in about an hour. It feels like an electronic board game. You do not need to have the online capabilities to play all aspects of this game.

Very fun but has a few draw backs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like what Super Mario Party offers but it is not fully fleshed out. The most important thing to be aware of is that you'll need 2 additional Joy Con's, 4 in total, as each player needs their own. Pro Controller not supported. There are a handful of modes: Classic Party, 4 Player Co-op, 2 vs 2, and several Mini Game modes. There are 80 mini games total spread across these modes which is were the game frays a bit. While most of the mini games are solid and fun on the repeat... You'll repeat the same mini games too often. I've had the same game nearly back to back. However, it is still fantastic and a great time with friends and family. My hope is that over time Nintendo will release updates adding more games or maybe even some solid DLC packs. Overall a good game but there are far better titles available on the Switch.

The best one I've played in years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: The mini games are fun and you no longer ride in a cart with the other players. Cons: The boards are too small and needing an extra set of joy-cons is a little less then ideal.

Lot's of family fun!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was fun right out of the box. Fun for the ultimate gamester or the fam member that hardly or never has played video games. Easy to play. Game gives plenty of directions [probably too many]. Definitely a game to play with others. I felt it wasn't as fun with 1 player.

Must have for the Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent social party game; has been an absolute hit at two separate game nights; literally convinced two other friends to either buy the game or buy the Nintendo Switch system itself after playing. That being said, realize that the game is ultimately pretty shallow; having only 4 game boards is arguably unacceptable for this kind of release. A lot of the fun of the game is in its novelty, when no one has any idea how to play any of the minigames well; when you're "that guy" who consistently knows all the tricks, it is significantly less fun. This is the kind of game you will love to have in your library, even if you rarely if ever play it on your own.

I'm always Princess Peach!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love playing this as a family! My grandson who is 7 comes over, and I get to play this instead of Candy Land, thank God! Also, it gives him an opportunity to teach grandma a thing or two about these electronic gadgets (I'm 45, so there is a lot of pretending). Lots of mutual respect going on here, unless he beats me....then he totally gets up in my face. My teenagers also enjoy playing with me and their nephew, so it makes it fun all around. Of course, my teenagers never let my grandson, their nephew, win, lol.

Fun for the whole family
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up because we canceled our disneyland trip and the kids LOVE the switch and this game! Quartine got us playing together a lot more. I will say one thing though.. Mario Party is a game where friends can become enemies if you aren't doing too well the other person on your team might get upset.

Tons of Family Fun!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike Mario Party 10, the all-character cart is gone. Play as individuals again and with a whole plethora of mini games, this is fun for the whole family regardless of age.

Game is good but can ruin friendships lol
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is everything I expected it to be just like the older mario party games. Was super excited when this finally came out for the switch. You can only use joycons for this game so make sure you have two sets of joycons to play with 4 friends. There are so many different modes to play as well. I highly recommend this game to old fans of the series. However this game is a lot less forgiving than the older games. You can no longer lose all your coins or all your starts in one swoop. But you can still steal things to ruin your friendships!

Family Fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the family to give us all something fun to play while the pandemic continues to play out. As is usual in Mario Party games there is a large and diverse assortment of minigames that populate the overall game. One area I felt was lacking, as compared to previous Mario Party games, was that the game boards are small and don't feel like as much fun as the previous Mario Party games. Its just a small nit-pick for sure as the minigames themselves are the star. You can have up to four players and each player only needs one joy-con to play the game. Each player does not use both the left and right joy-cons, just one of the left or right joy-cons per player which makes this game a little more affordable as far as additional cost for additional controllers go. Overall the game has provided me and my children a fun diversion away from the monotonous nature of everyday life during Covid-19.
