This is a biased review. The super smash bro’s franchise is amazing because it is a mash up of all of Nintendo (& now more). The unlockables and facts about each character and game make this a must own. I played so much melee growing up and this is probably the one that gets closest to that gameplay. N64 was bare bones but a classic. If you like SSB, get it. This edition is super cool.

A must have for a Smash Bros fan , the steelbook looks fancy and the special edition controller is cute.

Seriously, every other game can get out. Smash Ultimate is not only the epitome of fighting games, party games and Smash games, it's one of the best games ever created. Balanced as heck, a LONG single-player mode and if you can stop taking them for granted, seriously mind-blowing character editions. The steelcase looks nicer than it does in the images but the inside is a bit of a letdown. The controller though... Hoo boy. Awesome.

This is THE premier game to buy for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. Yes, Breath of the Wild was a masterpiece, but it's been out for some time now and this is the only game the requires everyone's attention now in 2018/19. So much effort, polish, gameplay options available. Enjoy it by yourself, with 4 people, 8, online. You decide. Adventure mode and things to unlock keep this a relevant play for a long time and well worth the money.

This bundle has it's pros and cons for me. While I really like the pro controller and great looking box, the steel book is almost a negative for me. It's very plain matte black on the outside with the Smash logo. Inside it has a picture of the battlefield stage. I would have rather had pictures on either the outside, inside, or both on the steel book, but instead it's just rather plain to me and not why I bought this bundle.

This is one of the best games ever, the controller and steelbook make it a great purchase.

I would have been satisfied with the return of every previous fighter alone (didn't think it would be possible to see Snake again after the Konami/Kojima acrimony), but Nintendo has truly outdone themselves between that and numerous additions like King K. Rool, Simon/Richter and Ridley! Enormous fun and highly recommended game, easily one of the best of 2018 and on the Nintendo Switch of all time so far.

The best version of Smash hands down. Characters like Sonic, who felt broken and difficult to play in previous iterations is currently sneaking his way into becoming my main. So much variety and different strategies for the almost endless amount of characters. I have been playing for hours and I still don't think I have fought on all the stages. Best day one purchase for a game in quite a while.

Cool steelbook but the real reason to grab this is the Pro controller.

The controller is cool, the case is cool and the game is very good.

If you're already planning on picking up SSBU and you don't need the Gamecube controller adapter, this is a great choice. It comes with an attractive, Smash Ultimate-themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and a nifty steel case in the same svelte dimensions as other Nintendo Switch packaging (so it'll slot right in alongside your other game cart boxes.)

For a special edition of one of the most anticipated games of the year, the packaging could have been better. The steelbook is nice and sleek, though special editions in the past included a regular case in addition. This one only has the steelbook.
