Definitely the best Smash Brothers to date. While the online still leaves much to be desired with the reliance on wireless and odd bouts of input lag that can cause up to 1-2 seconds of delay, I still managed to have a blast on my path to completing all 124 challenges. King K Rool is my surprise favorite fighter of the new roster.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best Smash Bros. game in years. The game is a blast to play along with family and friends. The graphics, the sound tracks and gameplay are outstanding, I can see family and I enjoying this game for years. The limited edition Smash Bros controller and steel book case are outstanding as well.

Most are going to play this game on the TV but let me say that this game is equally impressive on the go. There is a 300% improvement from 3ds version for the portable version. Be sure to register the game before 1-31–19 to get the piranha plant dlc for free.

One of the best versions of Smash. So many characters many upgrades that balance out the game. The graphics look vivid and the added additions are happily welcomed. This is edition of the game is not needed. The standard will suffice. It is just nice to have a steel book and the pro controller. But again it is only esthetic.

I’m really glad that I got the special edition of the game. While the steel book is a little lackluster the box is nice and the pro controller is amazing. The game is great and really reminds of the good old days of melee and brawl. It’s really fun and the multiplayer is addicting. Overall I’m very glad that I bought this.

This is one of, if not the best Smash Game so far. It plays somewhat like Melee and Smash 4 mixed together. The Special edition comes with a steel book with the flaming Smash Symbol which is a nice touch. Sakurai out did himself bless that man. There’s a character for everyone. Whichever is your play style it’s here.

I went to Best Buy to get the regular version of this game, I know, you can DL it, but I wanted to have the physical version..call me old and stuff. When I got to the cashiers, I discovered that the store had the collectors edition which came bundled with the controller. Awesome game, packaging and controller!

The Smash Bros. series has been around for a long time now and I've played and enjoyed every release since the first. This one is no exception, it's absolutely wonderful. It has so much content and so many new things, yet it brings back a bunch of old characters and other thing to truly make this game ultimate.

Fantastic steel case, however personally I just keep them in games in my case anyway. I got it mainly for the pro controller which you could also buy separately but since this controller is getting harder to find you are limited on options on how you can obtain this controller so I went ahead and bought this.

Basically, you are getting the game in a steel case. There is no separate plastic case for the game card. Then there's the controller with a sticker over the barcode that reads sold in bundle. Paying a premium for the steel case and the outer box. Not bad but I wouldn't pay over MSRP for something like this.

So I bought my switch a year before this game looking forward to this game. I was scared of the hype but after playing and nonstop sessions with friends am so glad I bought it. It’s no melee but a game in its own that will let you have fun with your friends just like when we were younger playing melee.

If you still had Gamers Club and preordered this item its an amazing deal! Its a great deal anyway for someone who wanted the game, controller, and some extras in a nice bundle. We all know Super Smash Bros is a great game but I love the look of the controller that came with this. Its a clean design.

I went into Best Buy, to purchase JUST the game only. I left with the entire bundle deal, ex: Pro controller, and Steel case for the game. I was NOT let down. I thought the controller would be a bit over-rated, and a let down, but it actually is super nice! It has a matte-like finish to it.

There's not much to say other than this is a great step for super smash brothers franchise finally being on the Switch, and done very well too. This game will last a while, I got the collectors edition for the pro controller too and I think the pro controller (looks OK) is awesome though.

If you enjoy Smash Brothers, this purchase is a no brainer. It has a huge cast of playable fighters, the graphics are great, the gameplay is fun and surprisingly balanced - you can enjoy the game with any fighter. The single player story mode campaign is an enjoyable extra.

This bundle is incredible. It comes perfect with the pro controller and steelbook case. When u include the free smash coin for pre order you cant go wrong. Great buy excellent game. I played the last smash bros for years and see myself doing the same with this one.

Truth be told I don’t really buy collectors edition however when I saw this. I just had to pre order it from Best Buy it comes with a steelbook with smash roster inside as well as a smash theme pro controller for the switch and the game in a nice little bundle.

That steelbook, though plain exterior has a very nice interior art. The pro controller is also much better looking than I expected. Overall, if you're a smash fan that is getting started and don't rely on the gamecube controllers then this is a great package.

When Nintendo says ultimate, they mean ultimate! It's obvious that so much work has gone into this game! This game has single player and multiplayer modes, literally something for everyone, if you dont like Smash then your heart must be three sizes too small!

If you like Smash Bros this is a must have version! It's faster than most of it's predecessors and extremely customizable for game types, items, etc. I'm not even going to try and list the options, if you want to play a certain way you probably can. The sheer number of characters to unlock can be a bit daunting but they come rather fast so it's not all that cumbersome. This time around that's the only unlocking you'll do as stages are all there from the start. Single player is surprisingly detailed too. NPC AI seems to have been improved as they're no longer wortgless drones nor flawless terminators. They actually present a level of interesting play. The only flaw it has is that the online play is a bit laggy and unrefined technically, it seems. It has a wonderful array of options but it needs some tightening up. Local multiplayer is as good, if not better, than ever.
