Worked great initially, I would recommend it if you have a low signal issues.

Had it installed immediately and received cell signal in the house again. However, the right yellow light keeps flashing, instructions said it was because outside antenna is too close to inside unit , which isn't true in our case, the distance is more like 75 feet.try disconnect the power and the device works fine again for two day ,then the flashing begins again. therefore I cannot understand why the flashing. Passed return window so that we have to deal with it. Our ten year old Wilson unit was working great until it got hit by lightning. May have to buy Wilson again in the future.
SureCall's Flare 3.0 has more ‘Gain’ then other consumer ‘home’ boosters. For smaller cottages it may be difficult to provide enough antenna RF ‘separation’ to exceed booster gain. In these situations, Flare 3.0 will automatically reduce ‘Gain’…. Flash Yellow. The user’s manual says… “Flashing Yellow is part of Normal Operations” and then it also says “increase separation between outside antenna and booster to optimize performance” Restated: Flashing Yellow means Flare 3.0 is fully operational but that amplifier has more performance available – if it is possible to increase antenna separation. 1) Is the outside YAGI antenna on the Roof / peak of Roof? 2) Is the outside YAGI antenna aimed “away” from your home! 3) How much vertical separation is there between the outside YAGI and the inside Flare 3.0? We recommend for 25ft of Vertical separation. Flare 3.0 (Flashing yellow) can provide all the coverage required. Further for some smaller cabins it may be impractical to achieve enough antenna separation. If you are still having problems – call SureCall Tech Support Gord

I can only get 1 to 2 bars in the most Easterly room in the house. There have even been times where the call has dropped. I installed the SureCall-Flare 3.0 today and after running a cable wire to the farthest room and playing with the direction of the antenna I am able to get a full 4 bars. No more dropped calls! Must be able to run a cable wire through basement and up through wall. I did the job in about 5 hours.

Amazing. We are finally able to use our cell phones anywhere in the house without needing to step outside to make and receive calls. We had dropped our land line so were dependent on our cell phones.

Our office is on 15th floor and does not have good reception. We bought this but the antenna has to installed outside. I believe it would be good for a big house.
Hi I look after SureCall sales in Canada... Flare 3.0 CA is a great home booster... one of the very best, particularly for Rural Canada. If you purchased the Flare 3.0 from BBY.CA send me an e-mail. [email protected]

Seems to work well as long as there are no physical barriers between you and the indoor unit. Easy to install and easy to get online.
