I bought this laptop purposefully because of the LTE capability. I know there are many others that offer this feature, but I like the dependability of Microsoft products. Since Wi-Fi is so unpredictable and cell towers are pretty much everywhere it only made since to go this route and still stay in touch while exploring the great outdoors. The laptop features are adequate for what we need to for. The windows 11 update made the laptop more accessible for 64-bit programs which seemed to be the downside in the initial sell of this laptop. But I do not do anything elaborate in regard to a profession or a gamer so I can't comment on anything in that regards. I am certain the features that accompany this laptop could accommodate those needs.

Amazing for work and fun! The Surface is very nice because you can match your windows work with your tablet needs. If you use Windowns I recommend Surface.

If you only need it for what it can do, it's great. No x64 apps and x32 can be a bit sluggish. But, I live mostly in Microsoft land so it works great. Instant on is great. Having the pen and keyboard is also great. I've also hooked it up to the Microsoft dock and it pushes a 34" wide and a 23" HD monitor. I was able to get a return of both the Surface Pro X and the Keyboard and pen for around $800 and I feel it's worth it. The original retail for $1200 is WAY too much.

Having been reluctant to purchase a Microsoft Surface device in the past, but needing a Windows device capable of cellular use I decided to take the plunge figuring if I was dissatisfied I could take advantage of BestBuy's return policy. Initially, some programs would not run. As soon as the device ran its updates, it ran everything I needed it to. Cellular and wi-fi connections are solid although I did have to set the computer to treat both as not metered which took a couple of minutes to figure out. Unless you are running something exotic, this is a great device with the caveat that Windows apps not written for an ARM processor must be 32 bit, which seems to be getting to be less of a problem on a daily basis. Bottom line - for my uses, I love it!

Use this everyday for work. LTE built in is clutch when WiFi is not available. Slightly laggy at times but a simple restart solves any issue of delay. Thin and light as well.

A compact PC sized like a tablet/iPad that packs a lot of power to get work done. The processor, however, does not support all program use or utility so beware what you need it for.

Very fast and easy to carry anywhere . Only thing I hate is not all the apps work on this because of the chip

Works perfect for what I need it for. Great choice for someone who needs a computer for school but who do not have WiFi in their home (SIM card compatible).

For mobile users, this is an ideal computer. Capable of operating all the Microsoft applications and if you're constantly on the go, there's no need to rely on you wifi or tethering to your cellphone with it's ability to have it's own data plan for internet connection with your cell service.

Overall I really like the new Surface Pro X, but I think that taking the earphone jack may have been a mistake. Bluetooth is not always the best. I also miss the USB ports as on earlier models. As for graphics and sound, the Pro X is a great portable option for work or school.

I have been a fan of the Surface Pronafter my first one and after purchasing my MacAur, I choose to go back to the Surface Pro. I had to get around the fact that the Pro X doesn’t have USB ports, but updated USB-C ports, so I had to purchase an adaptor, since most of my items are usb capable. I thought it came with a card reader, but I can’t seem to find it. Overall, I love the capability to be a laptop and a tablet. I like the pen feature as well. I had to purchase the keyboard separately.

My first experience with this is the battery lasting only about 3 hours with use. With less use, the battery lasts longer, of course, but if it's estimated at 8-10 hours, I would have expected that meant with use, since my crappy old laptop lasted several hours with use. In any event, I just keep it plugged in now. One other issue is that there are zero slots to connect with USB devices, which presents issues with connecting to my old docking station and jumpdrives when I am not using the Cloud. Last, the kickstand is great, but like a futon, doesn't get at that 90-degree angle that is best for video conferencing. So, I must put a little notebook under it to prop the tablet up to the right angle. I was thinking of getting a laptop stand, but this is a tablet, not a laptop, so it won't sit on the stand, as the screen won't stand up without the kickstand, and with a tablet stand, there's no consideration of using the keyboard with it. So, all in all, I would buy a true laptop for its structural elements and USB port(s).

I’ve had my Surface Pro X for over a year now, and have really enjoyed it. I had problems with the speakers early on, but the Microsoft store exchanged it immediately - no questions asked. It’s very light, which is great. The only problem isn’t with the computer - it’s with the leather “case” I bought for it. No one seems to have one on which you can see the entire screen, so that is a bit esthetically not perfect but it doesn’t affect its use in any way. So far, so good!
