I have been nothing but grateful after purchasing this Surface. It has provided me a way to take wonderful digital notes and has worked as a wonderful platform to read and annotate class textbooks. Furthermore, it has a wonderful battery life and I am able to use it all day and still have half of the battery percentage left once I am finished using it.

My Daddy use to say everything. Before the word "but" is "blank"... this could be a minor exception to the rule. I love how it eliminates the need for paper in my line of work. (Insurance) claims. Etc. Only pitfall, is any kind of Software Compatibility with the its Arm processor.

It works well for me however the system is better on the surface 7 (which my sister has) but i do love how thin and big the screen is. I use it as my personal laptop and it works great for me.

In love with my Surface Pro x. I don’t use it for photoshop or anything like that. I love the sleekness, great camera, LTE connectivity, upgradable storage and how zippy it is for the basic things I use it for! If you are an artist or run pretty extensive programs then this might not be for you.

I was using a gaming laptop originally but switched to this because I can use the pen in word and on .pdf files and have handwritten notes saved electronically. The laptop is also so light it makes it perfect to keep in your bag and carry around to all my classes.

I am very disappointed to learn this surface has an unknown processor this is incompatible with basic drivers. I bought this to replace my last surface that I use as a register computer. I can not use my Star Micronics receipt printer due to the incompatibility. Then to find out there is a meek 2 week return window so I’m screwed! Not Cool Best Buy. Will def think twice before buying here again.

Would have been a smidge better if it wasn’t running an android style processor which will limit you on some Microsoft based apps. Check compatibility of all the programs you run before you buy.

Good product, not much difference from the SP7, except storage, size of screen. If you want to do drawing, renders, architecture, this is the product for you. If you just need a good surface tablet, the SP7 will do

Was a pain in the butt at first. Had to do tons of updates, repeatedly. And weird settings to start. Took a bit to get used to but very easy to use and streamlined after. Happy with my purchase. Works great as a laptop and very convenient as a tablet.

Good looking hardware, competent internals but the software compatibility is an issue. I planned to use as a travel, work and personal laptop but many programs are not compatible with the mobile chip.

The Surface Pro X does it all for me. It is quick, and easy to use. The screen is absolutely beautiful and the programs work flawlessly. I have owned 3 different Surface devices and this is by far my favorite. I would highly recommend.

This things only redeeming quality is that it's a tablet with windows. That's it. The SQ1 processor is so slow compared to other ARM based CPU's. The proprietary connector for power is just dumb and the experience with navigating something more than just word or built in windows apps is doggedly slow. I refuse to use edge but man is chrome slow on this thing because of the emulation happening behind the scenes. Admittedly it's seamless (for 32 bit apps) but its just so slow. Great sound though and great display. Most of all I can have more than 3 windows open at a time, something that the iPad cant apparently cant compete with, albeit I just have to be patient because it will take a while to do things. I'm mixed on whether I would recommend it. It is great when I don't need to do a lot of stuff and just want to have something light that I can just whip out but for any more serious stuff I just bring my heavier laptop because I dont have the time to just wait around for this thing to load things. Im going to not recommend it but Im sure there's someone out there that the use case is more appropriate for.

I thought that because it has a different processor that the performance would be effected but that is not the case. This laptop is still just as fast as the pro 7. Very nice laptop with its LTE capabilities

This device is mostly good except for the poor x86 emulation compared to products like m1 MacBook air. But overall is a nice product I will recommend only if its on sale.
