Every since the surface tablets has been introduced, I have owned one. This will be my fourth purchased one. Now I will say I wasn’t happy with having to buy the keyboard separate and the windows plan, my last surface came with both…but I understand business,

Great device, the arm-based processor holds great promise and I loved the pen. However, I returned it for an intel based processor computer due to program incompatibility at this time.

It does get overheated while in use. You can’t really install any security protect on it without getting an error! Other than that I love it!

I should have bought a Surface 7. This Surface has had issues with the software that when calling Microsoft all they say is re-set your PC (GENIUS), that's one way to fix the problem, sometimes newer does not mean better, think about it if it has been tested by a lot of people for a while and it works then stick to it. Don't be a tester for products that if they cost so much should have been tested by the maker not the person who buys it and pays a lot.

When my screen cracked on my original Surface Pro and I coud not get it fixed, I was bummed :( But after getting the newest model I am happy I made the upgrade! Many new features and love that the stylus pen now stays secure in the also new keyboard.

Got this for my son for Christmas... He is able to perform all his school work and play his online games without any issue. I amthinking of getting one for myself. The pen is a plus!!

I have been very impressed with this new Surface Pro X. Microsoft came out with a new chip called the SQ1 and it has received so many mixed reviews. Do not be biased based upon what you might have read on various websites or blogs. This is a keeper for several reasons. First, Microsoft warns about compatibility with some applications. While this may be troublesome to some people, it is important to keep in mind that audience that Microsoft is targeting with this new device. I will list the many benefits of this new chip architecture. There are many expensive devices out there that do not offer LTE built in like this device offers. This is always connected and Microsoft did an outstanding job with managing the connection. It seamlessly switches between Wi-Fi and LTE depending upon what is available at the time. I was so impressed that it immediately worked with the SIM card that I took out of another connected device. There are options to use a physical SIM card or a virtual SIM card. The setup will also give you an option to subscribe to services if you do not already have one. The network is fast. I have not encountered any issues with LTE or my home Wi-Fi. It connected to my gigabit router right away. I have read about issues with others, but I have not experienced any such issues. It also found my printers and installed all of them, all of which are popular brands. To test further compatibility, I also hooked the device up to a USB C docking station and I was able to drive all of the USB devices and three 4K monitors, in addition to the laptop display. The display quality was outstanding on all monitors and it provided so much desktop space. In order to use this for working purposes, I had to try using it with a Citrix desktop. Once again, I was impressed. It worked perfectly and dismissed all of my concerns about compatibility issues. There is a browser out there known as Edge Chromium and I highly recommend using this browser for this particular device. Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge also work, but the Edge Chromium browser is faster than the others. The Microsoft Surface mouse works great and makes a nice and portable addition to the device. I have a Surface Pro 6 from last year as well, but I will find myself using this more. Its portability and always on feature make this my new favorite. The keyboard is very nice and responsive, as is the mouse. The addition of the new Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Slim Pen is a big improvement of the previous versions. The Penn now sits inside the keyboard and magnetically stays in place while charging it. No more batteries to purchase or install. When purchasing a portable device like this, it is important to determine what you plan to use it for. There may be programs that will not work perfectly on the new CPU, so I would use an Intel or AMD based Surface product. However, if you are looking for a device to bring portability with an amazing screen, incredible resolution, long battery life, built in LTE and lightweight, this is a winner. It runs most things very well, making it the prefect office on the go. I am very happy with my new laptop. Finally, make sure that you complete all of the patches once you have it set up. Most of the negative reviews were based upon issues that are likely fixed with the updates. With any new device, the vendor will send out patches that address the initial issues.

it works, was an opened box. did not fire up immediately, but once it was charged it did. Would have been nice to have the keyboard standard. Ordered one over a month ago and still has not arrived. I don't blame best buy or microsoft, its the supply chain. Microsoft, if you are listening: create a bundled package in the future. I don't know of one person who just buys the surface tablet without the keyboard.

I purchased the Microsoft key board to go with the Surface Pro X I was not hapy with the touch pad. I did purchase the Microsort mous and set up now I am happy with everything.

Not much of a computer person but it’s extremely compact and enough power to Do most of the things I need

This touch screen computer works well for some people but was not exactly what I needed for my use.

No sd slot and has no usb, only the newly usb c which makes it hard to get a mouse for

it gets the job done, on the go and at home. I don't have a desktop at home. So this is my everything cpu.

Its a little laggy but it dose work fine. Ive had it almost a full year and its still okay to use.

Out daughter is reporting that the computer is serving her needs.

Doesn't connect to any apps that I needed. it only installs ones specific for this surface. I took it back. It wouldn't do anything that I wanted. It's probably great for just a computer, but not a combination computer tablet.

From an Intel kind of guy to have an Arm CPU so far I havent notice any diffeence in speed still missing a few apps like Zscaler, but great machine

So far so good. Everything works well. A bit worried about it being open box but everything seemed okay.
