Lots of fun...in Handheld Mode!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I are big fans of Sushi Strikers. We've been following the game since its announcement at E3 a few years back. There is both a 3DS and a Nintendo Switch version (we own the Nintendo Switch version) and I have to say that after playing through a few hours of the game, we love it! I will say though that the controls are very tough when using a regular controller. Since the sushi moves fast and you have to be precise which sushi you select and where the next one is, using your finger on the touch screen gives you a much better (and more accurate) style of playing than the frantic scrolling through sushi that you might find yourself doing when using a controller. If you have the 3DS, you might want to try that version since it may be built for having that touch screen, but if you like having it on the Switch (like we do), you'll have to try out whether or not you like controlling it with your Joy-Con/Pro Controller or if you prefer the handheld experience. Oh and the intro song is amazing and very catchy! :D

Fun
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sushi Striker: Way of Sushido is a creative and incredibly fun videogame. It's not a piece of art, although it has a fun, light-hearted and creative plot, but that's okay: this game is not made to be taken seriously. It's not the big single-player epic, but it's a near flawless action-RPG-puzzler videogame, and it fits the switch fantastically. This game, whatsoever, is not for everyone, but for those who enjoy it, it's a masterpiece. Since there hasn't really been any game like this before, I recommend anyone interested to check the free demo in the Nintendo Switch EShop( although personally I think the 3DS version is superior in almost every way besides graphics). A common complaint among people who haven't played the game is the price, but this game is well worth 50 Dollars. I've played the game non-stop(14 hours), and I'm about 20% in the story mode. There is also online play, beautiful graphics and a concept never found in any game before. (It has nothing to do with bad Match-3 mobile games).

Fun, but can drag on
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing through this game and I really like it. I like the game play and it gets easier the more you play it and figure it out. However, the cut scenes can be really long and boring. I also find that the dialog can be a bit lack luster. You do have the option to skip it so that is a relief! Overall the game is super fun to play!

Fun Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sushi Striker is one of those hidden gems that on the surface looks/sounds kind of bad but is really an amazing treat once you give it a chance. This is a puzzle game where you match sushi on plates to eat and then you throw the plates at your opponent. The story it pretty good, but the gameplay is even better. Believe me when I say that this game is fun.

Great quirky puzzle game, a bit overpriced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 50$ I honestly dont know if I could recommend it, but if you still have GCU like I do then at 40$ i'd say its worth it. Its a great fast paced puzzle game with quirky funny dialogue and a ridiculous story. If you like match style puzzle games i'd download the demo off the Switch Eshop and see if its right for you.

Fun time killer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fun little puzzle time killer for the Switch. Its nothing special but its good enough to sink a few hours into when you're bored. I wouldnt recommend it for more then 20 bucks though.

Good game but only get it if it's on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this game for $5, so it's pretty good value at that price point. Definitely would not rate as high if I paid original MSRP of $50. It's easy to pick up and play for a bit and then set back down. Story is interesting enough.

Better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a gem honestly. Didn't expect much even though I heard it was good on the 3ds. Bought it on clearance and really enjoy it so far. Its a touch screen game, couldn't really play it with a controller. For 10 bucks it's worth it.

Fun puzzle game for Switch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was admittedly one of those people that scoffed at this game when it was first revealed. Even after I played the demo for the first time, I wasn’t completely convinced. But I kept replaying the levels to get a higher score and that’s when I had an aha moment...I was having fun. I think the cutscenes add a little something extra to it, and don’t regret this game being full priced ( maybe because I used GCU to get it, but still...) My kids also enjoy playing it as well. Try the demo, wait for a discount if you must, but by all means GET THIS GAME!!!!

Fun game, no complaints!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is very addicting and there are a lot of levels you can play so you don't have to worry about beating the game in a few days. I enjoy this challenging puzzle game and would recommend it for teens and adults.

Good, but not without flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fun puzzle game. Controls are a bit to inaccurate sometimes, but the mechanics are fun. While lighthearted, the story is entertaining enough.

Fast paced puzzle game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m having a to of fun playing this game. Very colorful and makes me want to eat sushi all the time! It has interesting gameplay but if you’re not into the fast paced type of puzzle game, this isn’t for you.

Very fun and enjoyable game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this back In November for one of my family birthday and I had to say this was definitely a good game. I didn't know what to expect out of it however I got it for my sister's birthday, I saw some gameplay, and based on what I had saw it was more of a matching game, yet also very fast paced I find that very interesting, as this game goes self-aware, and embraces on this game as a whole. overall this game is definitely highly recommended for anyone who likes matching games with fast pace style you will definitely have a good time playing this game.

Hilariously fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has an interesting story that will remind you of a comedic anime. The game itself is easier on the touch screen than the game controller. Match 2 or more in a row and attack!

2018 Underrated Switch Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When this game was first released, I had no plans on purchasing the game. However, when Nintendo released a demo of the game I decided to give the game a chance and it's truly very fun to play! It's a game where you got to match up your sushi plates and throw them against your opponent and it does get pretty intense! If you got the time and money, I would pick the game out without hesitation! Very fast paced game and you will be surprised with how much fun you would have!!!

Hidden Gem!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is flying under the radar, but it is a really fun solid puzzle game with voiced animated cut scenes, a full varied story mode, and many goals to fulfill and things to collect. Some people say it feels like a mobile game, but there is quite a lot to the campaign mode, and I really enjoy the game. If you still have Gamer's Club Unlocked, then this game is an easy buy at 20% off, but you should be a puzzle fan to buy it at full price.
