My husband needed this much more than I did. I nearly spit when I found out how expensive it was but he is sooooo Hppy. The whole room vibrates and the sound is great.

Works extremely well. Very loud in a 25 × 12 foot media room with 10 ceilings. A second one would really rock it loud.

For the monwy this thing is a beast! Ive spent more on car audio that hasnt handled the low frequencies this well definitely buying a second one

Awesome sound! Salesman didn’t steal me wrong! Just needed to purchase the cable to attach to my Denton receiver.

I was previously using a MK 12 inch sub and it did pretty good, but just wasn't as responsive as I wanted. This sub solved that problem, works well for movies and music.

The amount of bass that comes out of this sub is immense — it completely elevated my surround system to a new height. On the down side, it also now means I can’t put the kids to bed and watch a movie... it’s strong enough to vibrate the upper floors of the house.

anyone in need of a powered subwoofer at an attractive price, this is the one you want. Tight bass is delivered effortlessly. If you have a large room, buy the ported sub and a smaller room, buy the enclosed sub. Velodyne, this is your competition in this price range.

I think I would like the sound of a 12in woofer instead It's just not doing it for me

I did a lot of research before buying this sub. For a comparable price, there are a few brands i was looking at including Polk and Klipsch. What i liked about this sub , is the low frequency range which you can really feel when playing a movie with heavy bass. very pleased with my purchase

You have not experienced bass until you've heard & felt an SVS sub. The PB-1000 i purchased is for my living room, and I'm currently debating between a PB-4000 and PB-16 Ultra for my theater. The low end is amazing on these things!

Very impressed with this subwoofer!!! Such a tight low end. I listened to what critics were saying about how good Klipsch subwoofer is, not even close the low end was so muddy and basically noisy!!! Even the speaker box sounded hollow. SVS has won me over. I’m now looking into their Ultra tower speakers.

Very nice subwoofer for its price. I had to make several adjustments to my 5.1.2 Atmos setup for it to provide the bass I was hoping for. Finally happy with it.

The bass is amazing and goes pretty low. The blue power led is bright in my opinion.

I raised my sub budget to $500 specifically to include this sub. I purchased this subwoofer based on reviews and recommendations from various HT sites and forums. I have not once regretted my decision. This sub complements my 3.1 HT setup for our open floor plan home. - Denon x2600h - elac unifi floors and center - SVS pb1000 Deep, solid, penetrating bass. Listening to instrumental jazz is ridiculously satisfying.

Great product and easy to setup. Great first sub. Pairs well with simple 2/3.1 setup and of course everything else beyond that. I have this paired with Klipsch R-51m bookshelf speakers which sounds great with this sub. It really can fill the room even at lower volumes it performs well.

Holy cow! This subwoofer is amazing! Spend the extra few bucks over the others and buy this SVS!
