I bought this to replace an old HSU sub. The SVS plays just as advertised. I have a pretty large room and this has no problems getting low and loud. What I really like is you can control it with an app. Plus the cabinet looks really nice.

All I can say is wow! Years with Polk, Klipsch, Yamaha, and JBL home subwoofers and these PB-1000 PRO units revealed stuff I’ve never heard or felt from music and films I’ve enjoyed hundreds of times over! So smooth and full I immediately pulled the trigger on a second! Do the research and then do it! You won’t regret it!

Awesome sub. Had a def tech supercube 2000 which i returned as it sounded too boxy. Got 2 of these and after break in period they sounded even better. The SVS app is super helpful to dial it in even more. These things pack a lot of punch especially having 2 of them. Very happy with my choice.

You cannot go wrong with SVS , also their phone APP (I normally hate phone apps) is nice because you can adjust amp from your seat of choice. This unit is really designed for home theater in mind but still does better than most of this form factor and price point with music precision. (I bought 2 of them). Reaches low, is fast yet not distorted if your used to a cheaper sub that you can tell is on this sub might seem to disappear on you till you turn it up due to less distortion. (most subs unless turned up beyond the levels they were intended for a movie etc should be unnoticeable direction wise, if you can tell where they are they likely are distorting the signal or producing sounds in the midrange)

Got this for a .2 setup. Bass is much more distributed as opposed to a single sub.

Moving from a Klipsch sw12 to this is night and day. The porting allows for super low frequency response. It's a mature sounding subwoofer. I highly recommend. The app is also extremely convenient.

The sub produces some seriously clean bass. Adds that nice subtle tone missing from many systems. The quality of construction seams top of the line. I really love the app control too, because I plan on burying this thing under a cabinet.

Love how low these get, have 2 of them in my theatre setup after one of my klipsch amps went out, love the app and the quality for the price.

Title says it all. If you remember those Maxell blown away commercials, this sub delivers exactly that. Be prepared to be that guy in the chair when the sound hits and just … wow

This sub sounds great, but I've occasionally had problems with it connecting to my receiver. Like it's on, just not putting out any sound. Might have been a fluke or something with break in though since it hasn't done it in a while. All in all, I'd probably still go back to Klipsch though.

Great Sub for Movies - Get the SVS Feet

This was an upgrade for me from the Polk PSW10, and it has been amazing. For movie lovers, for sure get the front ports as it helps get the feel of the bass over the sealed. I would also highly recommend the SVS isolation feet, they are about $50 but eliminated almost all of the rattling of my windows and wall given an amazing movie experience. In addition, the SVS app is well done and makes adjustments easier than trying to get to a control panel on the back of the unit.

Excellent product and salesmanship by Best Buy's Tanasbourne team - very dedicated to customer service and satisfaction, which is why I've been a customer for decades. These subs have a deservedly stellar reputation. Two have plenty of power to keep our floors shaking. Easy to tune with their onboard controls or use the Bluetooth app on your phone for more detailed control. Zero regrets getting two - the bass envelops the entire room, movies are incredibly realistic and music will shake you to your core.

SVS knows how to build a great sub. This is the second SVS sub that I've owned. My first one was the big boy PB-16 in our basement home theatre. I purchased the PB-1000 Pro to replace an old Dayton Audio sub in our living room. And what a replacement it has been. This may be SVS' entry level sub, but it hits way above it's weight class. Even the Jeopardy music makes picturesove on the wall. Definitely would recommend.

I am running this sub with Klipsch Reference premiere 8060 and Pioneer Lx505 and tha sound quality is sinply outstanding. You will need some time to break in the sub and the speakers and to run calibration - once you do that, it sounds amazing.
